Ben felt tense, there’s no other way to put it. He made a mistake, he slapped her ass at the store. In a place where a lot of other people could see them. He was worried she was ashamed of him, maybe she doesn’t want people to know they are together?
Why would that be? He had plenty of time to think, she was not talking to him so he had plenty of time “alone”. His first theory was that she didn’t feel comfortable dating someone much younger. But they had already dated, in public, and she’s never had that much of a problem.
Maybe the age gap was the issue? But not because of that, instead she could be mad because he took the lead? That action seems to be the one of someone who’s in control, maybe she doesn’t want people to think he’s the leader in their relationship? Maybe this is a direct challenge to her authority?
Another reason could just be because he did this in public. But he made sure no one was watching! Maybe… cameras? She was afraid the store had it filmed? Was she worried someone could save this file for a personal purpose? He’d love to have the video, he couldn’t lie. But this is not something he should be thinking about.
She parked the car in her driveway, before he could even say something, she hopped off the car. She turned off the engine and exit the car so fast he didn’t even have a chance to speak.
He took off his seatbelt and got off. Melody was still angry, so he walked to the back of the car, just to see how she grabbed all of the bags herself and slammed the back door and walked inside.
Melody was truly becoming a big lady. She carried all bags with a single hand, they were half-a-dozen, and fully loaded, plastic bags. At 6’1”, she was officially a big gal, a tall woman, a strong woman.
He would’ve felt thrilled about this, but she seems so angry that it seems something that would work against him.
Of course, she slammed the front door as well. He shivered a little, but he should walk in and take this as a man. He was certain she'd get even angrier if he scattered and walked away from this. She’d think he’s a coward, or irresponsible, something you cannot let a mature woman think.
Ben followed her, he opened the door and walked in. He knew exactly where she’d be, every time she went grocery shopping she dropped the bags in the kitchen. So there’s exactly where he’ll go.

He walked into the house, thankful she didn’t lock the door behind her. Then he made his way to the kitchen.
All the while, he was wondering what to say. Should he immediately apologize? What would she want from him? He could walk in and say something like: “Babe, I messed up, I’m sorry.” But he’s unsure how this would work with a woman from an earlier generation.
Truth to be told, dating a mature woman’s not always sunshine and rainbows. Maybe he plays too much? Should he act more mature? Well, if she wanted a mature man, she’d date someone her age. He thought she liked it when he did spontaneous, and naughty, things like this, but this was a bit too much…
Ben walked into the kitchen, his heart pounding with every step he gave.

And now, where was she?
He didn’t have to look much for her, Melody was in the kitchen, standing next to the sink, where one counter connects with another one at a 90-degree angle. She didn’t seem happy, she was looking at him, arms crossed beneath her larger breasts.
He could hear her foot tapping the floor angrily. Not fat, but firm and strong. Now, his next move will tell how this goes. Will she shut him up? She hasn’t left, so she wants to talk with him. The thing is, does he want to talk to her? As mad as she is, as angry, will he take it?

“I…” He started, wanting to say he was sorry, but Melody was not going to let him speak.
“Shut it!” She said, making him quiet and still as she walked towards him. Arms still crossed as she approached.
He couldn’t deny two things, it’s not nice to see Melody mad, and it’s less pleasant when she’s now a towering amazon. Maybe she is 6’1”, and that’s just an inch taller than him, but a single inch is a really big difference.
In terms of height, whenever a woman’s taller, she looks even taller! Why? Well, people are so used to men being taller, but after this new era, all ladies are a lot taller than the tallest men. However, this generation’s mind is still set on men being the tall ones, so looking at a taller woman, that’s imposing, and it makes her seem bigger, more dominant. And sometimes hotter.
In this case, she looks more intimidating.
He stood there, still and silent. He was not even willing to look her in the eyes. Her face was so close, she was looking straight at him, but he just couldn’t make eye-contact.
“How dare you? And look at me when I’m talking!” She ordered.
Ben turned, a bit scared, her face was red, and her eyes were like darts shot into him.
“In public? How dare you do such a thing in public! Do you have any idea of how that makes me look? People will think I’m a slut! Or worse, that you don’t respect me!” She said.
“But, I respect you!” He said.
“Then, why did you smack my ass in the middle of the store?! Huh? I’m a woman, I deserve respect, I deserve someone who knows that those kinds of things are only to be done in the bedroom. In private!” She yelled.

“How would you feel if I did this to you? How would you feel if I, I don’t know, I thought your ass looks good in tight jeans, and then I decided to pinch your cheeks! Was that a threat? Was she for real? Did she think that while they were at the store?

Mood changes were one of the side-effects. Either because of the changes on the body or the lack of them. Aside from that, she could be more temperamental. What he did was a valid reason to get mad.
But she calmed down, she breathed in and used her words. Still, the new Melody seems more dominant than the old Melody. Could the size also affect the way she perceived herself? As a more bossy lady and not a pushover? Well, that’s clearly it.
This was a normal reaction, however… what’s in store for him in the future? What’s in store for them? the bigger she gets, the worse this gets? The worse her mood becomes? He certainly hopes not…
“No, be a dear and put the groceries in place.” She said.
“What?” Alone?
“Take this as your punishment.” She winked and left.
Well, this was better than anything he had in mind.

Ben had to keep in mind a lot of things as Melody grew taller. She also became thicker and sexier, but there was more woman than he could handle. Or maybe not?
The truth is that she’s not a bad woman, not mean or devilish in any way. However, she does have certain rules, and those are not just her rules, but the regular rules a mature woman like her has. She’s older than him, her way of seeing the world was a bit different from his.
There were things he thought were fun, but she didn’t perceive them as he did. In fact, she found them rather annoying. Of course, not all of them led to a lecture, in some cases she’d just roll her eyes towards his immaturity. Not always, most of the time she laughed at his improved jokes, and they were really bad ones sometimes. However, there were other things she didn’t appreciate much.
For starters, Melody doesn’t love it when he’s such a funny guy around other ladies. Does she mistake that for him flirting with them? No, she’s certain he’s flaunting around them. Now, was this her nature or… is it because of the growth?
His question was, do growing women become possessive? A quick internet search revealed… nothing. They were all so busy talking about the positive aspects that everything was flooded with just good vibes and amazing results. But what about the other kind of results?
They went to the mall, just a casual visit on Sunday. A time to chill and walk around with no care at all. Of course, his mind was busy with a few aspects of his new life. He was waiting for Melody outside of a store, this was a lingerie store for taller ladies.

Ben had a few things to think about. Some really important things.
First, when will Dylan come back? He’s been texting him every now and then, he often asks him how his mother’s doing, and Ben always tells him she’s doing fine. But that’s not the whole truth.

He was afraid she was going to hold on to him as she felt the need to find comfort in him, feel desperate to see him and constant urges to be next to him. The last thing he was worried about was what he was going to do during all this time. He’s been standing out of the lingerie store for too long, he was worried if the people who walked in thought he was a creep. And if the people who walked out felt odd because the same guy has been standing there during all the time they were there.
He was tired of standing there all alone. He was wondering what to do. He couldn’t leave because Melody told him not to get too far, it felt as instructed but she disguised it in a way that he felt as if he was doing her a favor. So, whatever he wanted to do, he must do so within a close range.
Now, where could he go in this area of the mall? He’s at the spot where everything is oriented for the ladies. Shoe stores, clothing stores, perfumes, accessories, even silly stores full of plushies. Where could he go?
And then, he spotted it… a cinnamon-roll spot! It was a tiny spot in the middle of the hall. Far away from the food court, but settled there because people might feel in the mood for a sweet treat.
“Will she want one?” He thought, immediately walking towards it.
Ben was tired of standing there and waiting, so he decided to do something different. This place had no line, he felt in the mood for something tasty, and who knew how much longer she’d take. The closer he got, the sweeter the cinnamon smell made it seem this was a good idea.
Soon, he was close enough to the place for the lady at the counter to notice him. She seems a bit younger than him, 21? 22? She waved at him as he approached.
He felt nice, so he waved back. She seemed like those sweet ladies who are kind to everyone, those ladies were so hard to spot. Or, maybe, she did this because he was handsome? He ignored it.
“Hello! What can I get for you today, bun?” Bun? Was this a way to flirt or was it some sort of way to welcome customers with a thematic greet?
“Hmm, I don’t know… there’s a lot of options.” He looked at the menu, he had no idea there could be over a dozen options for cinnamon-rolls alone, much less for this place to sell other items. Including diverse coffees, but that made sense.
“Not sure? Awww, well, why don’t you let me help you!” She was so kind.
Truth to be told, she did like him. And a little more information about her, she’s quite tall. Standing at 5’10”, she’s not taller than him, but she’s close enough to his height for him to stand straight around her. She’s also one of the ladies using the height enhancing cosmetics, it didn’t make her much taller, but she did go from 5’8” to a noticeably taller height.
He mistook her overly sweet treat as her being a good seller and not actually trying to flirt with him. But his friendly nature made her feel they were both on the same page.
This lady was so tender, she explained to him all the menu, she was smiling too much at him, she was laughing at the silly things he said. He should’ve seen the signs, but they passed him by. Being with someone, having a couple, that blinded him a bit towards signs of someone trying a move on him.
This proved he was good to be trusted, however… things wouldn’t be as nice if Melody spots this lady flirting with him…
