Motion Capture Recorded. But will it blend? Also News.
🕑 Added 2017-03-29 07:51:45 +0000 UTC Hey guys,I just recorded the motion capture for Naomi's first animation. Unfortunately, the upper torso, head and legs did not record. I tried it several times. The harness they sent me may be defective. What a pisser!
I think I can work with what I have here, however. I can manually animate the missing pieces. It's just... Goddamnit. Ya know?!
I would recommend that nobody buy the Perception Neuron motion capture system. It's just too problematic.
So I wanted to share with you what is going on...
1. The story is finished, but my voice actor has not yet recorded her lines. Will she give it to me tomorrow? Will she take another week? Who knows. If you don't want to wait for the complete presentation, send me a message and I will send you the story without the new voice recording. I know this has taken a terribly long time. I'm really sorry.
2. Of course Naomi's first animation is fairly close to completion. Me having to manually animate some of her is a setback but there's no point crying about it.. Just gotta push through it.
3. I originally intended to add more elements to Naomi's 2nd animation.. But because I am so far behind I will use what I have now and make animation animation.. Naomi's 3rd animation will see more evolution of her rigging. I will be posting Naomi's 3rd anim on March 31st as a paid creation. And depending on how fast I can progress, I am currently planning on not posting any paid creations for the following month. I will have two lean months while I get caught up. The good news is I am not making any new characters, so putting out animations will take much less time than Naomi's 1st where most everything was made from scratch.
EDIT: Tech support will be doing a Skype voice chat with me today.. Maybe they can resolve the issue.. Who knows.
