🕑 Added 2021-05-06 18:02:02 +0000 UTCHiya! I was without internet for a full day due to a dead modem. That was annoying. Here's what's new:
I'm just about done editing together all of the dialog for Raina's 2nd animation. It's really good... Likely to become one of my favorites. I would say it's similar in tone to Jo Enters (not skin tone, of course), but there's more to it. The problem is, the entire presentationso far is over SIX MINUTES LONG! Holy moley. I have a decision to make... Do I keep the six minute run-time and split this up into three releases? Or do I edit it down to a more common four minute thing? I welcome your comments on this below.
I also did a test of Storm's soft body sims and it was not working so well.. The developer told me he would put out an update that fixed the issue and that just came out today. Someone took my problematic scene files and ran them in the newly updated Storm and it works perfectly. I've attached two clips of his results to this post. It seems pretty abstract, but it is a test related to Raina's 2nd animation. If I can duplicate his success I will be a very happy little animator.

I considered that but I did't want to leave it up to a vote. The voters are not privy to the source material... Only I am. (and I will not spoil it by giving out the soundtrack early).. I just have to come to a decision. But I am happy to hear your opinions.

Well, in my case I don't mind if the animation has to be split into an additional part to be the whole project you've envisioned. After the work you must have passed to create that dialogue I think it would be a shame if it was crippled just for time constraints alone. Of course, I would be willing to support that additional part but I also understand that maybe others would like to have it the other way or maybe you change your mind. Let's see what happens.
