One More Boobs Test
🕑 Added 2023-07-15 18:53:55 +0000 UTCI learned a new thing so I wanted to test this out while I was in this scene. For Storm, we cannot yet have two different kinds of materials interacting with each other... Example: You cannot have a set of boobs being pressed together by a bra or a shirt.. They sim as if they are hanging free. This was a problem with my previous physics system as well; just one thing at a time.
So I learned how to use a technique in Storm how to side-step this shortcoming. I've assigned what is effectively a weightmap to each breast.. And then I have two "fans" parented to her ribcage... Each one only effects one breast because of the weightmaps, and they "blow" the breasts towards each other, pressing them together. So the breasts sim kinda-sorta like they are in a shirt.
In the attached clip, I turned off these fans near the end, so you can see the breasts become unbound and drop down as if they are naked. This same technology can be used to style her hair as well; which will be very handy.. I can have a part in her hair, and one fan will blow her hair one way, and another fan will blow it another way, effectively styling her hair so they do not drop like wet noodles. Nice.
