In a nutshell, it means that the hardships in your life are your demons, and by "swallowing them," or rather internalizing and using them to push your further... you're able to become stronger. And the greater the pain you've made your strength? The greater you can propel yourself towards your goals. Or that's my take at least! I could be off.

I just rewatched Gildedguy and the Green eyed Cowboy on Hyun's dojo and I just now saw the frame where the girl gets sat on by Green Eyed Guy. It was at 2:45 and it was HILARIOUS, I love how you drew her face!
