March Animation Updates!

Here is an update on Story 8 and the other going-ons in the world of Gildedguy.
Story 8
The animation for the midsection of the battle (Chapter 4b) is 99% storyboarded and 50% animated. The goal for the rest of the month will be to have it about 80% animated and cleaned up.
We'll be tackling a chunk of scenes' 3D backgrounds too.
I'm feeling more and more confident about our ability to do dragon animation! This includes some fun fire-breathing FX work, which I just finished last night:
Animation Tip: If you have a shot with high depth-of-field, consider splitting the foreground effect (fire) from the background effect (stream), and drawing more keyframes for the foreground. Saves a little bit of work!
While Chapter 4b is being cleaned up and animated, I'll also be moving ahead to Chapter 4c, the last segment of the battle! There is a considerable amount of concept art and layouts to do, and I want to wrap it up with a BANG!
Speedpaints & Illustrations
The other week I put out a poll for you guys about short-form content. A majority of you preferred speedpaints & illustrations, so I'll be focusing more on delivering those.
Here's a fun concept I did for Tyrra, who was introduced at the start of "Gildedguy & the RHG":
In this fun idea, Tyrra travels across Cier to see beyond her technological hometown of Aether 2.0. She becomes interested in many different regions and cultures around the world, and becomes a certified explorer in her own right. Tyrra returns home, seemingly satisfied with her journey, until she happens upon a new technology, and learns to travel not only across land, but also across time.
Another illustration I did (on stream) will be featured in a speedpaint video. Since you guys are Patrons though, you guys get a sneak peak.
"Pushing Buttons" - A young entrepreneur invests in his budding flower business using all the spare currency in his pockets. The foreign-ness of his money makes waves in the local marketplace.
The art was rendered first by placing down black & white values, with the hues coming afterwards. I'm more used to putting down local colors first, but this method seems to be more efficient. I look forward to doing it more often!
I'll be posting the full downloadable, wallpaper versions for Tier 2 Patrons once the speedpaint video is published.
New Plushies?
You guys loved the previous one, so we are in the design phase of some new plushies, similar to the Official Gildedguy Makeship edition.
