Settled into Bali
🕑 Added 2024-09-26 05:42:11 +0000 UTCWe are finally settled into Bali life and have started with all the training!
I can safely say I am feeling very achy today!!
The first three days of Hyrox have been challenging, to say the least. But they have also been very enjoyable. It’s good to have a variety of different training modalities in a session, and I love focusing on more fitness-based/ endurance exercises again.
This week is also my first week back to handstand/ contortion training. I am gently easing into it and keeping it fairly unstructured (this week)—just a mixture of handstand play, flexibility/ contortion, and core. Then, this weekend, I will program my plan for going forward with this style of training.
I know that when I haven’t done the style of training in a long time, it’s best to ease in the first week or two before the real work begins!
I train in two separate gyms—it’s best to have the variety! Both gyms get very busy, so I plan session times around when the gym is quietest so there is minimal distraction and hopefully no equipment. One of the gyms I train at specializes in handstands/ flexibility/ calisthenics, so meeting others and approaching potential clients in that environment is always good.
So, at the moment, my Hyrox sessions are six days a week, and my handstand/ contortion will probably be five or six sessions per week. I will program my structured sessions this weekend to start next Monday.
On Tuesday, I had a content filming day at the beach, and today, I will film in the jungle!! So, lots of fantastic content is coming very soon 🏝️ 🌳✨
I am fortunate and happy to be back in Bali and in the swing of things this time. With all the new training/ goals and finally being able to create the content I’ve always dreamed of- things will only continue to get better and better.
All is a feeling, and at the moment, my state of mind and feelings around everything are beyond belief. I couldn’t be more grateful to have you all on this journey with me, and I believe it’s only the very beginning of the magic that will be created.
Life is a journey and an evolutionary process.
Success is the progressive realisation of your worthy ideal- whatever that might be :) Different for every one of us ✨
Thank you for everything, and see you all very soon 🧘♀️ ✨🌳 💃 🤸 🏝️ 🌋 🏋️♀️ 🏃♀️ 🌅
Sending you all so much love and happiness 💓
