What a month it will be π
Hyrox training has started, handstand training is in full swing, and we have some fantastic locations where I will be filming movement coming up- (Next stop this weekend- Ubud to film something special). I feel everything is coming together very well, and some magical things will hopefully be coming your way β¨π€Έ
We are not even two weeks into this trip, and it was exactly what I needed. I feel a sense of peace I have not felt for a long time. I have had this internal battle with not wanting to compete in bodybuilding for some time. But I didn't quite realise how much this had affected me.
I truly believe that when one thing is out of alignment with who you are, it impacts every area of your life and being (whether you are conscious of it or not). For me, I could feel an overwhelming kind of stress.
I am always thinking about how I can get into an optimal state of mind and flow. As I've mentioned before, this is so important as an artist. And when wanting to produce something that goes beyond, all is a feeling; if the feeling is not 100% there, it comes from a place of force. I think it is tough to produce your most excellent work with force. My greatest goal is to create something beautiful and share happiness with you all.
We live in a world with so much beauty but also so much negativity and chaosβsometimes clouding everything else. So, to be able to share some love and happiness with you all through movement/art is a blessing, and I will never stop being grateful for it.
My days at the moment are jam packed with fitting in training sessions, work related tasks- filming, editing, clients and then intentional time to disconnect and enjoy sunrise, sunset and being in Bali. One moment it is 4am and the next 4pm! I wouldnβt have it any other way as I love every aspect of what I do.
That said, to get the most from training, being point with everything is a lifetime commitment- nutrition and recovery need to be prioritised around training. And I often forget quite how disciplined my life is as everything is so habitual. They say discipline is destiny!!
For me I have to schedule off plan time/ and actually find it can be very beneficial to creativity (sometimes). But I just love my routine so much, for me itβs hard to switch off from it. Anyway everything is amazing and Iβm very happy to have you all here β€οΈ
Letβs have an incredible month!! β¨π€Έ π
