Last week in Bali

I hope you are well! This week has been a very interesting one. I have had to step back from any form of cardio/hitt (since the weekend)- as inflammation has been very high. I have been trying to discover the cause; it is likely a result of high cortisol levels triggered by caffeine and training. Combine this with the time of the month/ hormones, leading to inflammation and bloating. As a result, I decided to sort out the problem before continuing anything that would trigger. I have no competitions coming up, and it's the early days with Hyrox training- so it's time to sort it out before continuing with this training style.
Coming out of the last competition prep, I should have listened to my body and taken some time to recover (I always forget quite how much strain is put on the body during bodybuilding prep!!) before jumping straight into a new type of training (I will talk more about this is a vlog) - I am forever learning!! Different foods/environments didn't help. Anyway, I am significantly reducing my caffeine intake, have cut out sugar, will listen to my body with training- for now sticking to weights and handstand training, and am increasing my intake of gut-healthy foods. I hope to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
I have just over a week before I leave Bali, and then I will head to Phuket! It's been a good trip, and I have been incredibly fortunate to fulfill some dreams and film in incredible locations!! However, there have also been some challenges, as mentioned above. I know if I want to achieve all my goals (continue to maintain the desired physique, be optimal with movement, handstands/ contortion (producing my best possible art- priority), and progress with Hyrox) simultaneously, then I need to fix the route cause- sort out the cortisol levels, hormones, and inflammation.
Anyway, I have one last location in Bali where I can't wait to create something magical, and then, hopefully, some incredible things will come up in Phuket!!
It is also Halloween soon, so there will be a fun try-on at the end of this month 🎃

I know, nearly 5 weeks already.... Phuket should be great and halloween should be fun 🎃. Trying to figure it out atm! might try and go keto for a while to see it that helps :) I hope you are having an amazing start to the week ❤️❤️
