Productive week of training

I hope everyone is having a great week so far :).
This week has been very productive with training. I have been doing a lot of fitness-style classes and loving them, and my fitness is definitely increasing. Although aerobic capacity is very challenging for me. I prefer shorter intervals, functional movements, and strength to long ergs and runs (basically Hyrox π€£)!! So, let's see how I move forward with Hyrox... maybe CrossFit is a better option. Inflammation hasn't been too bad for the week, and recovery has been excellent. It makes such a difference, and I have had a lot of energy for multiple sessions a day.
Next week, I would like to take some CrossFit classes and see how they compare to the Hyrox. And as always, I have my ongoing handstand and contortion training and am excited about the new transitions/ movements I would like to work on.
With all the training and good digestion this week, I have been consuming more calories, which has helped my energy levels and recovery.
This morning, I have a team rowing class. Then, this afternoon, I will do a handstand session and a Hyrox class.
One of the things I love about my stay in Phuket is that everything is very closeβgyms, restaurants/cafes, my friends, and I have a very good flow to my day. Flow is essential, and π― helps with being in an optimal state of mind.
My Dad was in town on Wednesday, so I was very fortunate to be able to spend the day with himβit's always lovely when family or friends are visiting when you're away! We went to the beach and had a lovely day together.
I have a couple of work things to catch up on this weekend, and then, as always, there will be training sessions. I also want to give sound healing a try.
I can't believe we are a month away from Christmas already!! I absolutely love being in Thailand, but I can't wait to be home for Christmas and New Year's to see my family and friends. I will also be ordering quite a few items for try-ons and movement pieces for 2025.
