4r - Road to Stockholm (info)

after the release of Hamburg by 4r map I have immediatly started to work on the connection between Hamburg and Stockholm map. The road and terrain is already finnished and I can already promise - this will be very huge! :) In fact, the road inbetween Hamburg and Stockholm is about 8x as big as the Hamburg Highway, thats why I decided to split this road into several updates. I want every release to be close to 1.0 state, it should not feel like an unfinnished map in any place. Here is how it is about to happen:
Denmark by 4r (release estimated in around 2 weeks)
This road will start in northern part of Hamburg (Quickborn) and ends at the border to Sweden. this part is about 3x as big as Hamburg, with many sections rebuld on 1:1 scale, but also some fictional ''shortcuts''. You will drive through epic scenrie in denmark, including the largest bridge in europe. Also there are several highway city sections including Copenhagen.
Sweden by 4r (release estimated in around 5-6 weeks)
Starting at the border from denmark to sweden, this road consists of a huge scenic drive around the biggest lake in sweden. Also you will have lots of swedish scenery and more curvy roads with lots of variation in height. This road will be more winter themed and ends before stockholm city.
Stockholm by 4r 1.0 (release estimated before christmas)
To finnish the road to stockholm project, I will remaster the Stockholm map and also add a new Highway road that will then connect to sweden by 4r map and ultimately connect Hamburg and Stockholm together. This should not be too hard to do compared to denmark and sweden map, and should make the map hopefully run as smooth as hamburg map while even looking better than before. Stockholm will also get a snowy winter setting, so you will get different types of conditions while driving around the globe through 3 different countrys.
I am activly working on the road to Stockholm everyday and hope to get everything done before christmas this year. All of these updates will be released as extensions for Hamburg map, so that you dont end up with 4 different map folders and so that you can still join on every hamburg server no matter what versions of map or extension you are using. There will also be updates for Hamburg map included in these extensions.
I hope you like this plan overall, it still roots in my initial plans from beginning of the year. Stay tuned for more info and the upcoming Denmark by 4r map extension!
