A prisoner, important to the party, has been locked away in a jail house and is being questioned by a ruthless interrogator with sinister intentions. Perhaps this prisoner is a family member to one of the player characters. Perhaps the interrogator represents a corrupt, oppressive government that the characters are opposed to. Perhaps the party seeks to find important documents within the jail house, or maybe they have been hired by a rival powerbroker to intercept important information. The reason for this encounter is flexible and has been left to DM discretion. The specifics of the guard tower itself and those who reside in it are provided here.
