This version of Holy Ground is fantastic. Definitely circle back to it. No spoilers but she definitely sang it in way it changes the meaning of it a tiny bit. But good on you for skipping All Too Well for a bit. Soon you’ll figure out why. You could spend a 6 hours on the song alone. So so many great moments in Taylor Swift history. And they’re all must watch.

You can come back to Tiny Desk and Live Lounge for the Red songs when you get to that album. Trick is remembering! lol Can I suggest you not watch the music video versions of songs for your first "listen"? I think it would be distracting and it seems more "pure" to hear the song first before seeing how it's treated in a music video. Just a suggestion. I hope you don't have any ghosts. Maybe some critters sneaking around? Her band and backup singers are like all one big Family.

Apparently Hitler *hated* red lipstick 💋 💄. That alone was a great reason for me to start wearing it all the time. But it's not just Hitler who hates a red lip classic. Wearing red lipstick is apparently also banned from almost all cults. I love that Taylor's signature lip color has been red for so long. It looks like she may be playing with corals & pinks for Showgirl, but I'll always associate an impeccable red lipstick smile with Taylor. And yeah. I can't wait for you to hear Red either! We'll have to remember to circle back to the Red songs you skipped with such magnificent self restraint - at least the really epic performances and interesting variations. Oh and seriously- never worry about crying on camera. Everyone cries to Taylor. It's just part of the experience. Waterproof mascara if you want, but just let the songs hit you. Don't fight it. They hurt so good.

If you’re not familiar with the tiny desk concerts, it’s not always the same setup as Taylor chose 🫶🏼 Sabrina Carpenter had an entire band and multiple backup singers with her - I think there was 10-12 people with her. So for Taylor to do it acoustic all by herself was so true to who she is and has always been - the songwriter with her instrument 😍
