Actually remembered when this came out we were begging her to make folklore/evermore into a movie of some sort. Because this was so good. I mean it’s still on the table because she has the movie deal but we have zero clue on what that is or when. Just that she’s still working on it. After rumors of her hiring someone to help her edit but clearly that was a rumor proven false. I’ll never understand why people think she needs an editor when we know she edits and adlibs things on the spot all the time. The interesting thing here is the kitchen scene was shot twice but she ultimately used the first one because it was didn’t have the same impact. A lot of the behind the scenes of her directing someone at some point always says she’s a one shot queen. And some of her vocals being recorded is one take. But we have absolutely no idea which ones.

How lucky are Swifties? ATW was a fan deep cut for 9 years, it wasn’t a single, didn’t get any promo back in 2012 or the OG Red era. But all the bullshit happens with the label, etc. and our girl not only gives us the extended, much speculated but tbh what I thought was an urban legend, 10 minute version but she also writes and directs this short film which captures everything we’d been imagining for all those years. I can’t wait for you to watch some live versions where 80,000 women are singing full voice with Taylor and yelling “FUCK THE PATRIARCHY”. It’s truly a beautiful thing 🫶

Just starting this reaction. After googling the ages of the actors, I figured I'd just toss this little nugget in. The Mercedes in the video is the 1989 model...just cause. Everything is intentional with Taylor. OH and after you see the BTS of the making of this you too will hear Taylor screaming KISSSSSSS!!! When you watch this back.
