Like, obviously it is, but something about the illustrations is especially beautiful this time 🥺 The blur on Haitham's wings, the way he stretches, his profile in the last picture... it's all so nice😭 I don't know what it is, but ANYWAY. I love his sleepy face and the way he took care of Kaveh's feathers is so adorable. I adore the concept of this mutual deep trust and the meaning of letting Haitham hold his wings🥺 (Also, Kaveh's hair on the first slide is so cute) And then the ADORKABLE CHEEBIES AGAIN, they always make me happy. Idk what it is, but Haitham stretching makes him look so young. Sometimes I forget this is the same man who overthrew the government lol. Also I love the detail of him falling asleep while reading. AND THEN HIS FAAAACE HIS FACE WHEN HE SEES THE FEATHER AHJAKSHDKAJSD. That was so unbelievably cute, urgh. This has so much heart and love to it, the way his eyes lit up and he came up to Kaveh with his face covered, so we didn't see what he feels and then he touches his forehead, I'm crying. This gesture always feels more intimate to me than a kiss, I don't know why. But I'm always a sucker for it ❤️ And Kaveh wanted to talk himself out of it because maybe this is TOO intimate and he suddenly feels seen, but instead Alhaitham is so happy. I adores Kaveh's expression in the last panel and the way it contrasts Haitham's, because sometimes it's hard not to be insecure. Yet Haitham always meets him halfway instead of pushing him away. Always. 😭😭 You tell stories so beautifully with your illustrations and the way you frame them. I always look forward to fridays and seeing your pictures, they make me so happy, no matter what you draw 🥹 Thank you for this adorable AU (I also never mind getting more pages, lmao but I do feel sorry for your hand having to draw all this).
