Yeah there's no way they're dropping that Faranak lives in Fontaine and nothing ever came out of it. THIS IS SO SAD I guess what fucks me up the most too is that they're barely in contact. She probably has similar feelings as Kaveh, thinking that it would negatively impact him to see each other. But still😭 Imagine your mom leaving you alone, inviting you to a wedding and then almost never writing you again. With everything that has happened to Kaveh, it's no wonder that he pretty much thinks of him as undeserving of love. He got his closure with his father, I hope he can get one with his mother too😭 Wise words from your friend and man, even if Kaveh does things solely out of guilt that still doesn't make him an asshole. Kaveh liking Haitham against his will is so funny though, bro went through all stages of grief before settling on "Of course it's gonna be him, who else" The relationship between him and Faranak is super interesting and sad. While I can understand her pursuing her own happiness, Kaveh is still her child 😭 It's sad that she fell for the same mask Kaveh puts on everywhere else too - or rather, she wanted to fall for it, I'm quite sure she as his mother knew he was lying but left anyway. But it's hard to sometimes not turn her into a villain in my head when she was the one who let him grow up alone (I mean Kaveh said he was already a grown up, but in hinsight he was probably still super young. As an almost 30 year old myself, being 20 is still a kid for me in some way lmao) And he spent all holidays alone 😭😭 Kinda crazy that Haitham is the only person in his life who's seen every side of him and still stands by him. lkashdklas this post made my blood boil ngl, neither Kaveh nor Haitham are black and white characters, they have ✨layers✨ Calling Kaveh an asshole because he does things out of guilt, as if HE HIMSELF didn't say that he might be doing things out of guilt, but the result is the same - he does something good, so it doesn't matter. It already tells you about his way too big heart. Yes, he gets angry, yes, he is mean to Haitham especially, but are we talking about the same person here? Kaveh, who buys things for charity, Kaveh who would literally give his last piece to make someone happy, plsssss Also, not to get all philosophical here, but what even defines a good person? Everyone has boundaries, everyone gets angry and everyone gets selfish every once in a while. Like, I don't agree with it, but calling Haitham an asshole - okay, fine, I'm used to it and not everyone deepdives into a character and I can accept different opinions (even if they're wrong 🤡), but calling Kaveh an asshole is like saying the earth is flat lmfaao. As someone who can relate (gods forbid I am Perceived™), I don't think you should worry too much about making Kaveh's thought process seem frustrating to others. Sometimes people are just... exactly that, and even they might be aware of it. To me, it just makes these comics feel much more alive and thought provoking, especially if you are writing partly from experience. Either way, your characterization of these boys is always on point, thank you for providing us with yet another banger 🫡

Oh Kaveeeh😭😭 Well aren't his worries relatable haha🙃Honestly I think you grasped the core of his character extremely well and the way it affects his relationship with Alhaitham. Always makes me remember how he felt betrayed by Haitham in canon because he saw through him and Kaveh wasn't ready for it, because he himself denied these negative traits of his. UGH he is so human. Tighnari chibi and his big ears is cuteness overload btw🥹 You draw him beautifully, too! Also we stan a really good friend who listens🙏 And his patience is out of this world lmao Kaveh's faces throughout this are hilarious, bro is so done with everything and his overthinking got activated lmao. And Kaveh blushing because he is obviously interested and Haitham and hearing from Tighnari that Haitham is also obviously interested in him, ahhh my babies😭 But let's face it, commitments are scary, especially when a relationship requires showing your most vulnerable sides and nobody likes doing that. I totally get Kaveh in some ways because unfortunately having parts you dislike about yourself is way too normalised. And if you don't dislike yourself or any part of you, you are perceived as arrogant. But especially with Kaveh's reputation as this beautiful genius it's almost impossible not to put him on a pedestal and while he doesn't like it, it at least gives him some distance. I think he's the case of, I don't want people to just like me superficially, but when it comes down to it, he puts on a mask and is the person everyone expects him to be. Because if someone were to see his true self, the one he hates so much, no one can accept that. My boy needs therapy. Though as he said, Haitham already sees way more than that and I guess that scares him a lot as well because he is STILL there. BECAUSE HE ACCEPTS HIM LIKE HE IS UGH. Also why that pic of Kaveh crying on the phone that was really not necessary to break my heart like that. I imagine he's on a call with his mom and pretends to be fine as always but is not.🙃 Can I just say that Kaveh absolutely deserves the world and more and anyone calling him an asshole has definitely not understood his character. And if I sound pressed because of a twitter post I saw, then you are absolutely correct 🤡 And as a sidenote your Haitham is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I think that everytime and yet you always manage to make him even more pretty. To end my deeptalk rant (sorry for that, it's a topic close to my heart) Kaveh feels so human and whoever cooked him and his relationship with Haitham up really needs a medal. JUST as necessary as Alhaitham proving to Kaveh that he sees and LOVES all of him, no matter how ugly, and Kaveh coming to accept this as fact!!!
