the bath scene without the necklace could have just been an oops, but (in the moment that we saw her old form) she had lost faith in the red god & was self loathing, so she let her mask slip. like i think the necklace might be more of a visual cue than something that actually holds her powers.

The mad king was attracted to his mother Joanna and there were rumors that they had an affair. So it could be possible that Tyrion is the product of that rumored affair
