Update 1.9 Announcement.
🕑 Added 2025-06-26 10:57:47 +0000 UTCWork on the next update has begun. It's still in the very early stages. What can I say without saying too much?
First of all, 1.9 won't be too big. That means the wait won't be as long as... last time. In general, I have a number of points that need to be “gone through” in order to bring events to a certain point that will lead Selene into the next, third chapter.
Not all of these points will be “closed” forever. Some of the decisions made in the second chapter will have long-term consequences. But some points will indeed be closed in the last two updates for this chapter (1.9 and 2.0).
Also, the “fork moment,” as I call it, is approaching. The variability of the next two updates will need to be tied in somehow with all the decisions made earlier, big and small. Does Selene date Cadonis or not? Is Pitchy taken on the journey or not? Is Meralion alive or not? Was Selene wounded or not? And this is far from a complete list.
I will need to tie all these options into a single structure. Not an easy task. To some measure, this is why other events that were originally planned for 1.9 were canceled. I wrote about this in one of my posts while working on 1.8, when it became clear that there were too many options and I needed to scale back my ambitions in order to “smooth out” the story later on.
One way or another, the dangers of the road through the wilderness are gradually receding, and soon our heroine will face challenges of a different kind. After all, Selene's story is just beginning.
P.S. Unless something unexpected happens again! But of course that won't happen... No... You can trust me.

I can't stop people from becoming obsessed. But I'm not going to break Yuturna's character for that. If you need one more confirmation that a romance with him is possible in the future, then yes, a romance with him is possible in the future. But not until Selene becomes part of something she doesn't even know about yet.

Hi D.E.!-✌️-! As always, I hope that all is well for you. Just a quick note to let you know that I think people are becoming completely obsessed these days, with... ...Yuturna, of course;-😮💨). Apparently, they're all very frustrated that they can't seduce him and so can't sleep with him. But that, I believe, reflects well today's consumerist society (i.e.: everything, right away/ buy and throw away/ etc). Brief, I'm quite puzzled: there aren't many people (for now) who seems fully appreciate the complexity of the character, or even, consider your super long-term plot plans, regarding this good Yuti. But, why am I even bothering to say this obviousness here?-🙄-? After all, you had yourself confirmed that a future romance with him will be possible later in the game. [^-🤷-^] So: there's no problem in fact, isn't it my favorite developer?!?

I must say this is one of the best interactive text based games that I’ve came across, story is very in depth and I like how certain choices lead to more interesting scenarios. I hope I can support it a bit more in the future, but until then keep up the good work!
