Initially, I found Watchers on the Wall to be lackluster. I've come to appreciate it more but to this day it's probably my least favorite battle episode. I was sooo ready for 4x10 today because I forgot this episode even existed. But like I said, I've come to appreciate it. Mostly because there is a specific element in this episode that is built upon and improved immensely in some later episodes. BTW - Every penultimate and last episode (including 4x10) is worthy of a 2 parter from now on. :)
just had to binge episodes 6-9 to catch up. this season is one of the best, can't wait for finale 🤘

Such a fantastic episode! What an epic battle. I felt sad for you when Ygritte died though... hang in there :-) I'm so excited for the finale-- Thursday just can't come fast enough!

The funny thing about the game of thrones world is that there's no technological development. It just doesn't happen like here. The valyrian times were actually way more advanced then the GoT world now. But not even that much, the valyrians existed for thousands of years, but no electricity, etc.
