State of the Game (April 2024): Update Ahead + Custom Emotes!?

SO, First off, the immediate fun stuff! I made 20 Reanimated Heart Discord emotes (18) and stickers (2). As Patrons of the game, I think I should make them downloadable for you all HERE.
But why all the emojis?
Well, after I drop the next update, I am intending on making a dedicated Reanimated Heart server. It will be a fun place everyone can share their fanwork and memes, as well as get exclusive Reanimated Heart updates!
(Why are there so many Abel emojis? Well... he's the people's princess, obviously)
I will also be revamping the layout of the Tumblr blog.
Aside from that, we're still waiting on the new trailer and the Android compatible version of the game. We quickly realized that using the computer layout for the phone wasn't going to fly at all, so we had to make a new UI. The problem is, this is taking some time to hash out.
But what about the next update?
The Next Update:
I intend to drop it around May or June (depending on how complicated the code will be). The next update will feature:
- 3 in-game days (1 romance, 1 plotline, 1 freeroam)
- The ability to gift LIs items in your inventory
- New romance CGs of ALL the LIs (one of them will feature your CUSTOM LI)
- 7 new backgrounds (3 of them being HD bgs)
- Several new characters (3 sprites, 2 icons), 2 monster designs
- 2 new sprites (new fem vin sprite, an abel sprite for some reason)
- More dynamic journal entries (I've hired my friend and RH patron, Mell, to give us an immersive Player's perspective of the events!)
What's the progress right now?
I'm halfway done editing the draft!
All of the art needed is done. Some of them I intend to edit, but they'll be done on time.
I think I'll add more art in the future, but at the moment, I don't want to burn myself out trying to do every location, so this is good for now. <3
After doing my edits, I'll be sending this draft to my editor. After I get that back, I'll do the base code, and then send it over to Exodus to fill in the stuff I can't do.
After all that, we'll have the bug testers play it... which, you can do, if you're a $5 and up Patron!
