State of the Game - 03/25/2025

I took a few weeks break from game development, but I really, really wanted to finish the update draft this month. And, happy to say, I did finish! So, we're back on track for the next update... I estimate that the update will likely happen around May. I'll be devoting the entirety of April for CGs and Code, while also waiting for Clovis to finish the updates.
With my work ethic, I'm fairly confident the update will come around May, but... some fairly big life stuff is happening to me lately! Which is that, my husband (Clovis), is finally moving to the Philippines!! So, we'll likely be handling his VISA for a while. (But, don't worry, I'll still be hard at work on the update.)
Updates:
- I've finished the draft for the next update, both the first draft and revisions. It's finished at around 18,000 words, and just needs another round of edits from Clovis.
- I finished 2 backgrounds and 2 sprites.
- I got volunteers for game translations. We currently have volunteers for languages in Japanese, Polish, French, Russian, Serbian, Spanish and Italian.
- I received the charms from the overseas supplier. They look amazing.
- I am working with Exodus to revise the Character Creator for more expansive gender options. This means that I will be revisiting the old draft and adding more gendered descriptions of MC, as well as more gendered reactions from the people around them. Along with that, we will also get Tarot card pop-ups and the pending Missy store in the last free roam update.
To-Do List:
(This includes myself and Contributors.)
- Need more revisions of edits from Clovis.
- I need to commission more voice lines and hold auditions for characters, including Vin's femme version.
- I commissioned Tay for more items for the next update. She just moved, so we'll probably hear updates from that next month.
- I am in contact with a manufacturer for prints, but she hasn't gotten back to me yet.
That's all I've done for this month! (Which is... still a ridiculous amount of stuff for someone that's supposed to be "on vacation.")
