One of my first thoughts when I saw Zeke for the first time was a potential love interest. I thought it even more after this episode with the reveal that Zeke feels guilty about Chloe dying just like Michaela feels guilty about Evie dying, it's something few people understand unless you've gone through it. The hate group would absolutely be a thing in real life if 828 really happened because like you said, people really do suck. Ben was definitely wrong to go after that guy but at the same time, I also like to see that the characters on the show are flawed and make mistakes, it makes them feel more real.
