I hate what they did with Kat I really liked her in the first season but they destroyed her here. Ethan is too sweet for her. So, I heard rumors not sure if its true that the woman who plays Kat was having some issues with the creator (Sam Levinson,) and the way he was writing her character as just a supporting "fat best friend" for the thinner girls, instead of giving her a proper storyline. Its such a ashamed because there was so much potential with the way they ended her story last season. On Nathan, its funny his mom is surprised he turned out the way he did even though she's drinking and smoking with her underage son and encouraging him to hurt women. Oh yeah they did have Maddy's parents in the first season I believe the dad was a drunk and the mom was a nail technician. I feel like The Fosters did a much better job at the whole crazy guy breaking into the house with a gun scene with Mariana and Nick. The healthcare system is a joke, I felt Rue's moms frustration near the end.
