⚔️ Adventure Hook: Whispers from Rookspire Keep
Centuries ago, a cataclysmic war drowned the Southern Provinces in blood. As the kingdom fell, a dark plague swept through its armies… and the dead never left. Now, only fragments of power remain—one of them being the mysterious Warden of Rookspire Keep, still holding his post atop the bluff.
When a local noble sends envoys to the keep, they vanish. The party is sent to find them—but they must travel through cursed waters and haunted ground to reach the keep’s gates.
🔍 What’s Inside the Maps?
📍 Witherway Bridge
A haunted crossing over fast-flowing waters
As fog rolls in, ghostly soldiers begin to emerge from the banks.
Halfway across, the specters attack—moaning about lost lives and the peace they were promised.
📍 Dreadmire Marsh
A battlefield drowned by time
Rusted weapons and sunken bones fill the trail.
Illusions from the ancient war flicker in the mist—phantom generals, spectral volleys.
Wights, revenants, or boneclaws may rise to defend their cursed soil.
📍 Rookspire Keep
A stronghold that refused to fall
The torches are still lit. The soldiers still patrol.
Their commander, Lord Varkus Blackwing, has held the keep since the war—undead, unyielding, and bound by oath.
He believes the war is still being fought, and your party may be seen as allies… or enemies.

Oath Unbroken – Fulfill Blackwing’s command with diplomacy or arcane means.
