I ask that those who are on mobile and are still having this problem, please use the web browser for the time being. It seems that the issue is happening mostly on the Android version of the Patreon app on some devices (but not all). I hope Patreon sees that and they update the app to work fully once more.
EDIT: For the ones still having the video problem, can you tell me if its all of them, or some? For example, do these 2 work differently? MGA15 , MGA10
If neither plays, what is the specific message you get when attempting to play it?

I have received word from various of ya that the Vimeo videos have not been working recently. From what I have gathered this seems to be due to the recent Patreon update (particularly on the app). It looks to be working fine on my end, but I will keep looking to see what else could be done. Keep yer apps updated and such to see if anything changes.

works for me, but I viewed through Chrome on a desktop. Not sure about the Patreon app via mobile device

Still not working. It states your unauthorised for this action. Same for all your vimeo content. But I can access other creators vimeo content.

Both work just fine from the iPad using the IOS app.

I User the latent Version of Android. And when I open it on Chrome, it is working.

By chance are you using an Android device? Also, does it work if used on the browser on the phone?

Still broken on the pixel tablet... Crazy. I am an i.t. guy but am not familiar with the requirements for the embed. Wish I could be more help. Oh, I see pending app updates on the Pixel Tablet, including the Patreon app...running those now...... and now it works on the Pixel Tablet! I'm guessing some underlying webkit issue preventing the right credentials/cookies/headers from being sent to vimeo.

Ok, that fixed it for some I believe. But others had the issue even with MGA10 and its embed settings (which I copied over to MGA15) At this point I feel that one is something outside of vimeo

From Chrome on Windows 11, both MGA15 and MGA10 links here take me to the respective posts and when clicking on the video, it plays "in place" in the posts. One small thing I noticed is MGA10 has a little smiling circle in the upper left hand corner before playing, but MGA15 does not. I'll try my iPad next

Manually scrolling to the post has the same result

From the Android app on a Pixel 8 Pro, MGA15 link tkes me to the post and shows the video still. Tapping on the video takes me to a browser page with an error "Sorry we couldnt find that page." But MGA10 plays the video fine

Just tried both those links in the app and I have had no issues… note this is just clicking those links which moved me to the post on the app. When I hit the video it takes me to more of a browser like view to load the video
