Thank you. Thank you for reacting to this one. I am unashamed to admit that i teared up several times. I'm a 43 year old man and this was the very first film I ever saw in theaters-- like, in my life. My Uncle -- the only safe, loving adult in my childhood -- took me to see this when I was such a young boy. He's gone now-- has been for 10+ years. Life is always challenging and lately I have been facing challenges. I needed this (tearing up again...). The little boy inside of me, still holding to his Uncle's hand, needed this. Thank you, sincerely.

Good afternoon Kim💝, I had a little guest here with me, my little nephew Oliver😁, he watched with me, and fell asleep towards the end😆. He just started walking recently. I love this movie, the art, the music, its pinnacle Disney. Me too, when I was a little kid I dressed up me and my siblings bunk bed to be like the monkey’s tree 😂. The hyenas.. Banzai, Shenzi and then…. Ed 🤣🤣 I find that funny. I didn’t realize that him practicing his roar would make him think it was his fault too 😮. “She’s not wrong”, and then Simba “She’s wrong!” That was amazing timing 😂. My favorite scene is the monkey showing Simba his father in the sky ✨👏🏻👏🏻 Thanks for sharing with your beautiful personality ☺️ Zachary 🫶🏻

All those old Disney movies are based. Lion king maybe the most based of them all: timeless, archetypal themes and positive moral foundations in fun, easily digestible packages. Add the hand drawn animation and the obsessive attention to detail, class music preformed with instruments: you can't beat it. They really don't make stuff like this anymore. Pinnochio, Dumbo, and the Fox and the Hound are some of my favorites.
