Past Client Story:
The words we use are important. Words are powerful. A man comes to see me after losing his wife to a long illness. He told her before her death, “I won’t be sexual with anyone else because I won’t be able to get erect.” And it became true.
Years later, I helped him renegotiate his unfair and outdated contract. I helped him with new words, “I deserve pleasure.” “I deserve love.” “I deserve companionship.” Words are life's building blocks: Words become thoughts, thoughts become actions, actions become habits, habits become character, character becomes destiny. It all starts with words.
There is no truth that can be carried over from the past into the next moment…or the next day, or the next year. Truth is only discovered in the moment... Truth is moment to moment.
In the news:
Congrats Oregon! We’re almost the first to sponsor a statewide study of sex work! Moving towards decriminalization, it’s good to talk with sex workers and find out what’s going on in the state! Conflating adult, consensual sex work with the forced, entrapped trafficking of people, has been the conscious choice of many legislators and law enforcement, and harms everyone. Look to Australia, New Zealand and other countries where things got better, safer, and healthier for everyone after decriminalizing sex work. In case you missed John Oliver on Sex Work, sex workers helped him tell the story.
Happy frolicking my naked Patreon family ! Miss Charla
