I got a game for you
🕑 Added 2023-10-29 17:32:35 +0000 UTCIt's Halloween, time to spoof a friend. Try this game. Start by making a list: What kind of traits describe who I am? What are my qualities? Who is me? Quickly, don't over-think it, take 30 seconds and list 4 or 5 things that YOU ARE. Try it now.
Got your "this is me list?" I came up with this for me: I am efficient, tidy, like to get things done, organized, and want to look pretty. Now that you got your I AM list, write a second list, I AM NOT: list things that you are NOT, traits that do not describe you, that you do NOT identify with (and probably dislike in others.) Write down a half dozen things that "You are NOT." Do it without much thought, Here's what I came up with: I'm NOT sloppy, messy, carefree about time, or carefree about how something turns out."
Got your two lists? Just imagine a lovemaking encounter where you came from the second 'what you are not,' list, ignoring the first list? What would that look like? How would you act? Hum. Try this simple exercise with a friend. Each make your two lists--quickly--and without sharing your lists, decide to play ACT being your "this is NOT me list," (or playing your pushed-away-parts.) Put on the timer for 30 minutes, and play being at a cocktail party, out to dinner, in the bedroom, or wherever.
What can our unexplored, not me, parts teach us? Can what we criticize others for, actually be fun to try on! Any one of you, Dear Patrons, want to play with me when I'm sloppy, messy, not caring about time, or how I look , or how it turns out? Juicy! Let's leave my organized and efficiency for the office. Have fun with your lists and even share them afterwards with each other--as if you couldn't have guessed! Lovingly and always a Trickster, Miss Charla
