I do understand you very well. I was working for about 10 years in the video gaming industry and there was not a single week, I haven't had this in my mind. Even today, years later, I still think of it and sometimes are still worried about "what if...". Yes, NO means NO. The way I grew up, my parents would have punched the shit out of me if I would have ever missed out on a "No". But as I said, working in the industry for years, I have seen many things, and sadly (which are exceptions and not common), sometimes people make things up in every possible way. Sometimes to get some attention, sometimes for other reasons. That doesn't mean, that there are no serious situations and I do hope, those people get what they deserve. So I took counseling sessions for me and my coworkers by professionals, psychologists, etc. to give everyone, including myself the best, possible education to be aware of things, and still... it changed me. I think, from what I know about you, you do well and you did nothing wrong. You can only improve yourself, keep awareness high and on events, maybe some precautions. So, be aware but don't let it make you go crazy. That also means: even you encountered some assholes, don't let this experience dictate how you move on. Don't lose faith and trust in people. You do well and I think, many people in your community learn a lot from you. I think a wonderful way to keep awareness up, help to educate a bit, and give courage to those in need. You shared, people had the chance to talk about, everybody is more aware of it and everybody takes something for his/ her life. So... YOU already made things happen. Never forget that and don't be so hard on yourself, even if I do understand you completely.

I think you´re a great person and have a great community. Anyway, sometime life happen´s and you can´t do anything about it. I really hope you feel better now.
