Chapter 2: Boy from Another World
🕑 Added 2025-06-09 18:52:52 +0000 UTCIn hindsight, Izuku should have expected this, but in his defence, he wasn't mentally or emotionally ready to consider the full implications at the time, as now he lay in a new hospital bed in a room that was somehow fancier than the last.
As he had no file or records, Doctor Shigaraki had created one for him. Of course, she couldn't lie about her findings, or as she put it, 'theories' as she couldn't prove he was from another world yet. Once that entered the system, it was less than a day before she returned, along with a team of doctors and scientists from Tokyo University who put him through a barrage of tests, which, by the end of it, to the stunned awe of the room, confirmed that nothing about him, from his blood to his DNA, matched any human in this reality.
The news of which made it up the chain, Shigaraki sitting with him that evening and talking about how she attended a virtual conference with the Prime Minister on his existence, which proved both the existence of alternate Earths but also confirmed that it wasn't impossible to travel between them, after all, he had survived the trip. Naturally, that made him a high-value specimen, so on orders straight from the Prime Minister, he was moved, under guard, to Tokyo University, Japan's finest institution for medical and scientific research.
None of them was easy to follow or comfortable for him, as he couldn't even see this new Japan as he travelled from Hi-from this other Musutafu to Tokyo. The entire time, they treated him like he was made of glass, keeping him away from the windows and sights of this alien world. Once there, he was carted to his room and only allowed out for his practicals and other tests, which they seemed to conduct each day.
The only one who seemed to still see him as human was Shigaraki, who had requested she be transferred with him. Frankly, he was sure that without her, he would have cracked by now, the woman spending as much of her time with him not conducting tests but just…interacting with him. Telling him stories and asking about his life. Her eyes seemed to spark the most when he talked about the heroes of his world, all the amazing quirks they had and the good they did, the woman admitting that she was an avid comic fan and even brought some of them over for them to read.
For his part, he learned much about this world, from how A.I. and robotics had advanced to the point that androids, like that nice nurse he met, were common to how medicine advanced to the point that most diseases were eradicated, advanced gene editing was both practical and also common, in some countries, mandatory; to how global warning wrecked the planet with rising sea levels and insanely common weather events, that part explaining why parts of Japan were flooded.
But while Izuku was left in awe by just how much was different in this world, what he gravitated towards the most was the fact that Humans were no longer confined to Earth but had settlements on the Moon and Mars, with plenty of countries and some mega-corporations controlling entire sentiments up in space.
There was a knock at the door, and when he gave permission, it opened to reveal a friendly face. “Hey there, superhero, did you have a good morning?” Doctor Shigaraki greeted him.
“It’s better that you’re here.” Midoriya smiled as she walked in and gave the boy a hug, one which he happily returned.
"Oh, stop if you. You're making me blush." She laughed, a sound that Izuku had come to cherish. Settling down, she sat at his bedside, as she always did, but he noticed that she carried a small bag with her. “Would you like to go out today?” Before he could inquire about it, she asked him a question.
“Out? Like…to the gardens?” Tokyo University had undergone so many changes in his world that he couldn't even name all of them, but they had a fantastic rooftop garden area with biomes based on several regions from across the world.
Shigaraki’s smile grew just a little wider. “Oh heavens no, I meant out into town. I imagine that a growing boy doesn't like wearing nothing but hospital gowns and pajamas.” She gestured to his current dress, but he focused less on how under-dressed he felt and more on the offer.
"But I'm not allowed to leave, and I have another test this afternoon." He spoke, a tinge of frustration in his voice.
"Which you don't need to worry about. I talked with the hospital director, the science director, and the UN's scientific committee's board. I got all of them to back off on them." She merrily informed him, though she left out the part where she used creative threats and minor blackmail to get the hospital director on her side.
Izuku gasped as that as she did all that…for him? “Why?”
She pocked his forehead. “Isn’t that clear as day, superhero? Because you’re not some test subject or research specimen. You’re Midoriya Izuku, who has as many rights and liberties as anyone else. It's not right that this has been your time on our Earth; we must have come off as terrible hosts." She told him, smiling, but her voice had a layer of uncompromising steel. He would hear the same thing when All Might said his ironic line or when his mother told him she loved him.
She wiped away the tears of gratitude that were forming in his eyes. Izuku hardly noticed them; he just leaned into the friendly touch. "So, you're to be set free from this sterile prison and allowed to live your life with some limits, but they'll fall away with time." She added to it, which got him to lunge forward, his arms wrapping around her. Despite his weak frame, he hugged her as hard as he could, starting to cry into her chest.
“Thank you…!” She didn't admonish him for crying or getting tears and snot on her suit. She let him have this as she gently hugged him back, careful not to hurt him.
Placing a hand on his head, she spoke up. “Hey now, no need for tears. I told you, didn’t I? I’ll be in your corner every step of the way.” She reminded him of her promise; before she reached for the bag, he noticed and handed it to him. "Here, I brought you some clothes I borrowed from my cousin; he's around your size, so you should fit. When you're ready, I'll be right outside."
“Yes, mam!” Izuku cheered as he got out of his bed and ran over to his bathroom as fast as he could. The doctor chuckled at the sight, as despite no gene editing done on him or his parents, enhancements, or even being in that great a shape, the boy could move when he wanted to.
'Kids, it doesn't matter which world they're from, they're always bursting at the seams with excitement.' She just shook her head as she got up and went to wait for him outside.
Line Break
Izuku changed almost as fast as he had that fateful morning, as resisting the chance to feel just a little normal again was too much. Stripping off the hospital gown and his hospital-provided underwear, he quickly put on the borrowed clothing, finding that whoever Ms. Shigaraki's cousin was, they had a similar sense of fashion as him.
Brown slacks, a dull green button, and a green-sleeved undershirt—all made from fabric that didn't feel like anything he was familiar with, but considering the robots, that was just an expected. If anything, he was surprised that the fashion felt so…familiar, but then again, he wasn't a fashion guy, and it wasn't like those people of tomorrow would dress as they do in every future set game or movie.
Stepping out, he found Doctor Shigaraki conversing with someone; the person noticed him and left, saying something about a test, but Midoriya didn't hear as Shigaraki gave him a smile and offered him a hand as she led him through the facility, not to the testing areas or the rooftop, but lower, into the areas where they handled the rest of patients and through that till they reached the lobby.
Right in front of him was the exit. The out from the sterile white and controlled life he's lived since he first woke up.
If he let out a cheer and rushed it, Shigaraki wouldn’t say, but she would admit that she found the boy to be utterly adorable with his reactions. She also made a note to ensure that they never put him into a situation where simply going outside could garner such a response, as if he was a prisoner having finished a life sentence and was being set free.
When Izuku stepped out into the street, he was immediately struck by how different the place was. Standing at street level, he saw firsthand the reinforced bio-facades rising over the terraced uplands, and the sidewalk was just covered with green shrubs and trees, making the 40 degrees Celsius heat feel no hotter than 30.
The streets weren't paved with concrete but with something that looked softer. Even as he stomped into it, it didn't give, and a closer look revealed it was filled with holes, maybe for rainwater.
The roads seemed to be made from a similar substance, with magnetic-like guidelines helping to direct traffic, many of which seemed to be self-driving from cars to buses. Even the people were different. Despite no quirks, he spotted people with different skin colors and additional features either from tech or what he heard were bio-enhancements. Many didn't use phones, or if they did, they resembled the neural-link visors that so many others were using.
One such person stood before him, dressed in an odd mix of a suit and an old-school aviator's jacket. Just as tall as Doctor Shigaraki, though Izuku would swear they had a quirk seeing how their hair looked, it looked closer to the upper tuffs of a light blue cloud than hair.
“Mam, is this him?” The man asked, directing his question to Shigaraki, who had caught up with him.
“Correct, Shirakumo, this is Midoriya. Midoriya, this is my aide, Shirakumo.” Shigaraki introduced them, and Izuku felt a little self-conscious now that he had realized he was staring.
If Shirakumo noticed or minded, he didn’t say anything as he offered a hand to the boy. “Happy to meet you, little man.”
“L-likewise,” Midoriya took the offered hand, giving him as firm a handshake as possible. He noted that his hand wasn't flesh and bone but seemed similar to what that robotic nurse was made from. “Pardon me but…”
"Let me guess. Do you want to know about this?" Shirakumo pointed towards his head, not his hair, but to the blue metallic plate wrapped around his forehead, extending into the flexible neck brace he wore and towards his right arm. "Long story short, I was a firefighter but in an accident that royally screwed me over. I lost some bits, but hey, the prosthetics are cool as hell."
He explained, goofing off by willing his hand to spin in its socket like a drill, stopping and doing the same for all his fingers and thumb.
As Midoriya looked at him in awe, Shigaraki shook her head at her aide’s short description of that incident. “He's far too modest, this one. He was a firefighter in training when he got called to an emergency where they couldn't rely on the androids. He alone rushed in and saved 2 dozen people."
“That’s amazing!” Midoriya got up in his face, stars in his eyes as he couldn't help but envision this man as a hero. Saving people just like All Might had done in his debut, and yes, he didn't get out untouched, but to sacrifice parts of himself, putting his life on the line and still coming out with a smile on his face, that was just the kind of person Izuku wanted to be.
Shirakumo gave out an awkward chuckle as this…was new for him. It's not like people looked at former wannabe firefighters with such amazement. "Oh, shucks, it was just my job. Besides, sometimes bots and equipment fail, and that's why we still have that human element, you know."
Moving on, he turned to his boss. “Anyway, where to?”
Shigaraki looked like she was about to keep teasing him and letting Midoriya bombard him with praise and questions, but she gave him a breath. "Midoriya here would need, well, everything, Shirakumo. So first, we'll hit Shibuya.” She stated, which got Midoriya to turn her face, stunned at such a statement.
“S-s-Shibuya?! But that’s super expensive! We can always just go to a smaller place.” Shibuya was like a huge shopping district back home, and he bet it would be the same here if it was still around. Sure, plenty of stuff there had gravitated to hero stuff. Still, he heard in history that it was already a fashion juggernaut long before quirks appeared. Such a trendy area would have stores he and his mother could never afford, much less wear!
Shigaraki raised an eyebrow. "Midoriya, I am a doctor, remember, one of relative high regard." Now, it was Shirakumo’s time to roll his eyes at how atypically modest she was with her wealth. Most people didn't enjoy lunar vacations. “Funds are by no means a problem for me.”
Izuku wanted to push back, but it would be ruder if he outright rejected her offer. So he quietly nodded as Shirakumo led them into their car, one that seemed to be of a higher quality than the rest, which was saying something with how fancy and concept-looking it was, if that made sense. One thing that did make it a rarity was the fact that, unlike other cars, it used a human driver.
Line Break
“We’re here, mam.” What felt like moments later, Shrakumo announced that they had arrived. Izuku had been in a deep conversation with Doctor Shigaraki and had barely noticed things as they went by. Getting out, his reactions to things were starting to get tamed, partly because he had known that Shibuya would be big and fancy, and this was no different.
Though they didn't drive into it, they were at a gated entrance with signs reading that only delivery trucks were allowed through. On the other side, he could make out taxis and a tram, but that seemed to be it.
Walking up to the window of their car, Shigaraki bid their driver goodbye. "Thank you. We'll call when we're ready for pick-up. Till then, you may do as you please." He nodded, wishing Midoriya good luck before driving off, quickly mixing with the rest of the traffic.
“Shall we get going?” Shigaraki asked, gesturing towards the line of people standing at the entrance. Midoriya nodded, sticking close to her as they joined the line. Lucky for them, the line moved quickly, as the gate was more for the local authorities to keep track of who was in the district than anything else. In his case, Shigaraki had to explain something to the guard, which he couldn't hear, but it had something to do with 'chip malfunction.'
Getting past them, they walked into the district, with Izuku immediately surrounded by the dozens of high-end stores selling everything fashion-related, with there being stores selling tech, most of which he didn't even recognize as products or had only seen in movies like honest to All Might hoover boards. Most of the brands he recognized seemed to be fast-food chains, which…wasn't as surprising as he thought it would be. Quirk or no, Mcds was king of cheap fast food no matter the timeline.
All of this was packed into buildings that seemed to follow the same design principles as the rest of the city, with some additional stuff that made the place feel like one was walking through an older European city with what he was reasonably sure wasn't real brick-paved roads, old-timey-looking street lamps, and Gothic architecture for some of the larger buildings and complexes.
“Wow…I don’t even recognize some of these stores." He uttered, not noticing how Doctor Shigaraki gently pulled him along like he was 4, not 14.
Shigaraki tapped her chin in, though. “Well, some aren’t that old, maybe 20 or 30 years for some brands, so I imagine they don’t exist as they look like where you come from.”
“Wait, they make clothing here?!”
“I didn’t tell you?” she asked him, confused about his reaction. He hurriedly shook his head as she recalled that this had never come up before. Snapping her fingers, she explained it: “Well, most brands do so. Instead of just having inventory on hand, they have the fabrics and other materials, and after they measure you, they create it in-house."
“But doesn’t that take a while?” Midoriya asked as he had known about such stores back home. Tailors that some heteromorphs used for custom clothing or just regular people who wanted something different. But the thing with such was that unless the tailor had a quirk for it, such custom jobs took days, if not weeks, depending on how busy they were with other orders.
Shigaraki nodded. “It’s a wait, but while something 30 minutes might be long, I find it no real concern.” Honestly, she didn't understand why some people couldn't wait that long, which she blamed on some stores having a wait time of just 20 minutes, which she didn't trust.
‘I was thinking it would take hours at least…’ Midoriya considered letting her know but decided against it. Walking around, she pointed out a few stores, most having holograms instead of a mannequin, which a staffer would have dressed. The holograms also seemed to have different poses that they'll cycle through, or for some, seemed to show a model doing movements to illustrate how the clothing would look on someone.
Eventually, they landed a store that he vaguely recognized, not for the brand but for the image of the designer outside. She looked different, but he recognized the face of Nimaru Sasori, a famous fashion designer back home whose style was coveted both in the fashion world and for many hero costumes. She even worked with Jeanist from time to time.
'It seems that her passion for fashion isn't limited to just the earth,' he thought as they entered the store. Moments later, a worker was next to them, Midoriya jumping in fright as he wondered how the heck the man even got there so fast. "Welcome to Red Sasori. What can we help with, mam?" the young 20-something asked, directing his question to the one he assumed would be paying.
“We’re here to purchase…well, a full wardrobe's worth of clothing for this young chap." Shigaraki pat Izuku's shoulder with a chuckle. The clerk was pleased to hear that, as it meant good business, but he was a little confused.
“Oh, it’s a bit late semester shopping, but I’m sure that you’ll find something to your son’s liking.”
“Son?!” Midoriya went red at the assumption, which confused the poor clerk more.
“Oh, pardon, your nephew.” He corrected, which also seemed wrong. Maybe he was just seeing things as the woman started to blush a little. He couldn't know what she was embarrassed by.
"R-right." The man decided to give this the benefit of the doubt and not call the caps as Shigaraki lightly slapped Midoriya’s shoulder. "Midoriya, let's get the basics down. Would you like me to accompany you for that or…"
Oh…oh, he realized what she meant and looked down. "I think I can handle that part by myself." He did not need help picking out underwear.
"Then I'll be by the shirts." Shigaraki stepped aside and allowed the clerk to lead Midoriya deeper into the store.
"This place is so small," Midoriya noted, as he had seen stores like this back home, but even in big malls where rent could be pricy, only the smaller shops would use a space like this. And if this place was tied to Sasori and set up in Shibuya, it had to be high-end.
The clerk didn't seem to think so. Tapping at his chin in thought, he replied, "Really? I always thought that the store was on the larger side, considering the brand we're attached to."
"Wait, if you don't have anything besides holograms, how will I try things on?" Midoriya asked, which only made the man look at him like he was crazy.
“Why…would you want that?” Midoriya was hit with another smack of being a fish out of water. No, that was generous; he was a Blobfish taken from the deep ocean and tossed onto the dry Mongolian Plateau.
“Oh well, you see,” Okay, think Izuku. How will you explain this without appearing like an idiot or revealing that he was a stranger? “To see how it feels on the skin…?”
“Sir, is that a question or a statement?” At the clerk’s response, Midoriya just gave up.
“I don’t know.” He was never a good liar at the best of times.
“Okay,” the man wondered if this kid came from the sticks, though it'd need to be pretty far out if he was asking questions like that. Well, maybe if you want to one of those retro stores, you could, but we don't do that here." He left out the part about no one in Shibuya doing that, but Midoriya could hear the implication and felt even dumber.
Mercifully, when it came time for the clothing itself, he looked through a catalog of what they had. While he was reasonably sure that prices here would be different from back home and that they didn't have a currency called ‘Bancor,' he was sure that the prices were high, insanely so, with most of what he saw being that he could never see himself wearing.
It was as he was scrolling through the fabric options for the clothing that he ran into an issue.
“Is there something wrong?” The clerk, having remained silent and at a distance, came up to ask.
"The size categories—they're different from what I'm used to." Instead of the typical numbers, he saw letter grading, staring at A and increasing. While the models seemed close to his build, he didn't want to get something like underwear in the wrong size.
The clerk hummed but offered a solution. "Oh, well, you can use the virtual dressing room. Just choose the brand and type of underwear and adjust the size inside."
“Pardon me!” Shigaraki came out of nowhere, a smile on her face. But his chip’s on the fritz. Could you perhaps show him where the elderly try on clothing instead?" Midoriya wondered what a chip could do with a dressing room, and the clerk thought the same but sighed. He wasn't paid enough to question.
"Oh, well, we don't get much traffic from the older crowd, but I'm sure we have a slot for such a customer." He turned and led them to the other part of the store where Midoriya could make out changing rooms.
As they moved, Shigaraki leaned close to him, an apologetic look on her face. "Sorry about that, but I forgot that most things rely on chips."
“You mean like the ID Chip you mentioned?” He asked, to which she shook her head.
"No, that's a mandatory bio-chip. The chip I was talking about is optional but allows you to connect to most things, such as virtual dressing rooms; it helps transmit sensations to the brain." She gave a quick summary of things, which was enough to draw Midoriya's attention as that sounded incredible; being able to do something like that sounded like a scientific breakthrough or the work of a quirk. Yet, it was used for little more than clothing stores?
“So, I could feel anything then?” Midoriya asked.
“Within limits, the bugs of the tech were worked out long before I was born. Lucky some older folks just don’t get them so we have stuff for them.” She would need to sit him down and properly explain things as she might have covered the bigger things, but now they needed to ensure he could navigate the day-to-day as she couldn't always be close.
“Does that mean I need to get one?” He asked a follow-up, getting a warm smile in response.
“Only if you want to, and only after I’ve walked through everything about them so you can make an informed decision, superhero.” She winked at him, which made him giggle a little.
"Yup, I just checked; it's working fine!" Midoriya didn't even notice that they had been standing in the changing rooms this entire time, with the clerk's statement being the wake-up. "The instructions to use one are easy enough. If you need anything, just press the call button."
Stepping in, Midoriya closed the door behind him and made sure it was locked before looking around the space. Now, the changing rooms he had been to had all been basic stalls, with a bench for your clothing and a spot for a hanger for clothing you were trying on, maybe a seat as well.
This…was nothing like that and only made such spaces seem more ancient than they were. Around him were panels embedded into the interior's walls; the same was true for the floor and the ceiling above. He thought he saw fans, but because many of the panels were so reflective, he didn't pay them much attention and confused himself.
Lucky for him, the control panel was easy to spot and looked like it had been designed to be as useful and friendly as possible. "Okay, so I just press this and-!" When Midoriya pressed a button, the panels around him lit up, and he could feel the immediate pressure change around him, hitting different spots of his body with different levels of heat and chill.
“Sir, are you okay?” The cleck asked through a speaker.
“I’m fine!” Midoriya called back, getting himself under control as he looked through the menu and found the underwear catalogue from before. Going through it, he selected the styles he wanted and picked a size he was reasonably sure was close to his.
That was when he was prompted to strip down to his underwear for the system to work its best, which was normal enough. That done, he selected the option to try it on and felt the difference, as the panels around him generated a localized area of varying temperatures, and it was insanely precise.
"Is…is this what they meant as it feels like I'm wearing something," Midoriya asked himself, moving around and learning that even as he did so, the room could rapidly adjust the localized cells' temperatures so that he never lost that feeling of wearing something when he was wearing nothing. Wanting to test it, he adjusted the underwear size a couple sizes up, and immediately, like it had loosened on his body, he fell close to falling up, with the opposite happening when he went a couple sizes down.
But with a clearer understanding, he was able to pick and choose what he wished, get the sizes, and move on to the other things. Part of him wanted to get little, as this all looked expensive. Still, he also knew that a woman like the doctor probably had an image to maintain, so while he couldn't pull off suits, he did pick a few more things than he otherwise would have.
When he stepped out, Shigaraki was waiting for him, an amused look on her face. "You finished?"
"Yeah, I picked everything. You can look over them and pick what we won't get since it's your cash."
"I don't think I will; you don't strike me as the sort that will waste money or buy frivolous things, superhero. Now we should probably continue with the shopping.
Line Break
When clothing was purchased, they hardly had to wait for the store to produce them to the exact size, and the fabric felt incredible when Midoriya got it. With that done, they went about getting other stuff. Shigaraki wouldn't take no for an answer as they picked up all that a young teen would need from his clothing, shoes, study material, and even things for hobbies. As he would need a while to get used to most tech, he went with older board games, notebooks, and plenty of comics.
He would have been embarrassed about that last one if not for the fact that the people working at the comic book store seemed to know Shigaraki. The woman admitted that she bought plenty of things from there over the years, having often spent time there in her youth when she visited relatives. They spent the entire day together, having left Shibuya; they handed over their shopping details to Shirakumo, who would either take their shopping with him or meet the moving vans delivering the larger stuff.
Afterward, they just explored Tokyo, which looked very different to what he would have pictured, though no small part the fact sea levels were higher than would have been in his world as for all the advancements, they hadn't been able to slow and counter the effects of climax, and with sea levels as high as they were, the new waterfront was Yamanote ridge.
As they traveled, they used trams so that Izuku could have as many chances as possible to look out at the city. The first thing they saw was the massive, shiny glass skyscrapers. The smaller ones seemed to be 80 floors, with the taller ones being over 140.
She explained that the shiny facades weren't just for show but were transparent nano-glass fused with a biomaterial. This created the Fujita living forests, which soaked up CO2 through their walls and cleaned up the city's air. His jaw dropped when she told him that even the ‘smaller’ ones could house over 900 apartments with plenty of open spaces for fresh air and light to circulate.
Other buildings had their lover levels covered in green from vines, ferns, and moss that climbed up their surfaces. The city didn't just replace large spaces with green along buildings, as they visited Aldera Central Park, which was designed in a similar style to New York's Central Park, creating a giant patch of small patches of forests, fields of grass, flower gardens, and a lake. All the plants in the park are genetically modified to eliminate most diseases, lower maintenance costs, and produce the most vibrant colors regardless of the season.
Then, there was the Kuatto launch station, an arc-shaped megastructure high in the hills of Shinjuku. According to Shigaraki, it was a smaller mass driver terminal, though the fact she could say that so casually was astounding to him. He asked why the area around it looked different.
“All Mass drivers are under direct United Nations control, so think of that entire site as one big embassy. So, security has to be tight to ensure criminals don’t sneak in and try and board a shuttle to the Moon or something.” Shigaraki’s explanation left plenty of questions, but he held off on them.
Oruto Plaza was next, a giant civic square filled with winter-themed attractions. The star was the Sky Canopy, a textile-thin membrane that stretched across the area, held up by several 100-story-tall towers. Within the canopy, the temperature was kept the same as it would have been in the winters of the past, which made him happy. He listened when she told him to put on a jacket.
"Birds and other wildlife don't get near it; it wards them off so bird strikes don't happen," Shigaraki noted as they walked through it, getting some hot chocolate and watching as some young children built snowmen.
The opposite was Chandorira, built right next to it, which maintained crisp summer temperatures. The place even had a large lake, which hundreds of people used, enjoying a lake day.
Line Break
"And home sweet home," Shigaraki opened the door to their apartment. Having spent the entire day exploring, both were pretty exhausted. So, when she had a taxi take them to Fujita and stop outside one of the taller ones, he wasn’t even able to feel surprised as they rode the elevator to the 60th floor.
When she opened the door, Midoriya saw the open-plan kitchen and dining area, with quartz countertops that seemed impossible to clean. Cabinets made from bio-composites hung from the walls with what looked like glowing veins coursing through them. A central dining table with four chairs was placed around it.
Beyond that, the living room had a panoramic view of the city. It had a large couch with a coffee table and a TV that turned on when they entered, playing the evening news.
Shigaraki showed him to the bedrooms. The one she had set aside for him was much larger than his old one, and the stuff that they had bought earlier was already placed in it. However, it would be up to him to put them all into the floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and closest ones when he had the time.
He was sure there was more to it, but after his busy day, he was too tired to continue and crashed on his bed.

Yeah, I can imagine that plenty of you have questions about what happened with that last chapter. I didn't make many changes to the canon Earth, as I just made it so that Fumikage has a sibling, and Tsu's grandfather was in town to get her and her siblings a present. But when it came to the other world, well, if you think the changes I made were big, you don't know the half of as an entirely new reality without quirks means I can do a lot, though naturally, some things just can't be done without quirks to say, create heteromorphs.
