Weekly Update (09/19/2022)
🕑 Added 2022-09-20 03:53:30 +0000 UTCSALUTATIONS, it is time for another update post!
This week was a fun one. We finally settled on some decisions for how we want our (hopefully) finalized GUI to look like and we think we nailed it. I know GUI stuff isn't that exciting, but we'd still like to show where our effort went, so here it is! Let us know if you have any suggestions :)
We also learned this week that Liz might be adorable, because she got a new set of expressions and a few of them are just too perfect - they fit exactly what we hope to capture with her. So to give you an idea of what we mean by that, here is the most premium, distilled, pure version of Liz we have:
With those aside, we also of course worked some more on the dialogue. Sadly another scene needed some slight modifications - we want to make absolutely sure that this story makes sense, because that seemed to be the #1 complaint people had on the release of v0.1. Hopefully if this goes well, we'll know what works and can lean on that knowledge a bit more! Just about all of the small animations we have are done too. It's been really fun giving all the girls that cute little bounce, it makes things feel so alive!
Thanks, everybody, for your continued support. We got a lot more of you lately, so we're glad you all love what we're doing here! It'll keep gettin' better as we learn. ;)
