Weekly Update (05/22/2023)
🕑 Added 2023-05-23 04:38:30 +0000 UTCHello, one more time! Welcome to the new weekly update!
We are very sorry for the lack of news last week. We focus more on finishing the special skin for the $15 tier, mere code, and some writing.
But here we are again. Let's go!
Potential supporting characters? Small change of dynamics in the little town?
The replacement of Lucy with Agnes opens the way to a better development of events in the plot, as well as more memorable and fun scenes. But it is also a sign that we want to make a better world building with the few inhabitants of the magical town.
Among our ideas is to add the constant tension of the naughty demons. Let the player feel and know that they are lurking to start their pranks!
That's why we're also thinking of adding, from a previous point in the game, some secondary demon girls (apart from Pandora, who will have a redesign and her own story in the future), who make small problems from time to time.
Please keep in mind that these sprites would be a little bit more primitive and less worked compared to the usual sprites we do for the main girls, since we still need to focus on the sex scene(s), UI elements, and so on.
These are the base designs we have of them. What are your opinions about these little devils?
More Backgrounds!
Thanks again, MistCaller!! This is a little work in progress for another upcoming BG, Agnes' Shop. What do you guys think? We love it, and once again, thank you MistCaller! A round of applause for him, guys!
Story and Events so far:
--------------------------------SPOILERS--------------------------------
Agnes makes her first appearance in the same way that Lucy did: She is the one the MC goes to buy brooms, but this time she will be accompanied by Lilith, or rather... Lilith will be accompanied by the MC.
Once they arrive with Agnes, she will be relatively aggressive, thinking that the MC could be an elf disguised as a witch, and she will have her reasons. But Lilith will help avoid a misunderstanding, and MC will be able to continue shopping.
Soon after, when MC has to help Annie get a uniform with Dahlia, he will also have to get Annie a special wand with Agnes.
Here, I have debated whether adding Jade to this event is a good idea. It would be interesting to see Jade's reaction to a "dark elf" (even if she isn't, but still...) and not only to her but to a shop that sells magical things! You will feel like a girl in a candy store, don't you think? (Although to be honest... To Jade's misfortune, there wouldn't be as many magical artifacts there, since it has been said that magic doesn't sell as it should. It will be that Agnes had to lower herself at one point in her life to sell meat And other things.
Once Annie tests a wand, it will cause a minor accident on Agnes' property, as she did not know that sexual acts with the MC would cause her power to increase a bit more than expected.
MC, being the gentleman that he is, offers to pay off Annie's small debt on his own.
We have thought of multiple ways to carry out this event, the main idea that we have written is that the MC helps Agnes by getting meat from a specific animal so that she can sell it (reinforcing the idea that magic doesn't sell much now and that it's even more profitable to just hunt), but on the way back to Agnes, the two demon girls we introduced at the beginning of this weekly update would ambush the MC to steal such delicious meat. But Agnes would get in the way, making it clear who she is and that some demons are nothing to her.
What do you think at the moment?
Moving on, we're working on more events for Agnes, one to three to make a decent build-up to her sex scene, which we've already written (as I said, we had a lot of fun with it ;D).
Their sex scene would deal with how Agnes knows that something is wrong with the MC and already knows (for various reasons that you will soon see) that he is not a witch, but not some kind of elf either.
MC anyway ends up clarifying that he simply "is not from around here, but he can't explain more" but Agnes forces him with a potion to tell only the truth.
Among the truths that our beloved protagonist ends up saying, is the fact that Annie feeds on his semen to have more power (of course, having clarified that she is not a dark elf).
Once she hears that... You know where this is going ;).
So far as what we have written! The rest are just ideas, such as that once Agnes sees some potential in this strange power, she sends the MC to investigate it with Celine (even if Agnes doesn't get along with common elves at all), and that this could open the way. for Agnes in the future to help Maeve and MC as a teacher or something like that, as long as they show that now, magic can return to its golden age.
What do you think of all this? Do you think this is a step on the right path story-wise? Something we can improve? Perhaps a defect that you have seen that we have not?
Let us know in the comments!
That's it for today's update, stay safe, and thank you for your support!!

I love the demons, especially the one on the right. Keep up the good work and take your time.

I think more characters, such as the demons, would create a good variety. Also keep from progressing too fast with other characters. I really like the design of the shorter demon.
