Here we are with a new weekly update!
Maeve's Rework
Good news! We are done with Maeve's Rework! At least with her nude body. Honestly, we are very happy with the results so far. She looks way better than her first both designs! Don't worry, we are positive this is the last time Maeve goes through a rework. We are satisfied with her looks, and we want to give her a good story as well!
What do you guys think? Hot right? ;)
Planning: Maeve and Lilith
Lately, we've been brainstorming, and got very good ideas. But these ideas implies changing many stuff from earlier content, mainly Maeve's personality, which won't be exactly far from who she was earlier. The one that would be reworked different would be Lilith. We are aiming to make her character more entertaining, a mix between her original personality and her current one. A tired, serious teacher that still shows in little hints her passion for teaching and her love to her students... And she would also fish. What are your thoughts on this?
We also want to rework Maeve's story, how did she start bountyhunting, making a longer build up, and adding more elements with the story, the small conflict between the witches and elves/demons. We hope you like this, because now that I have enough experience to make a better job, I am positive things will go right!

I second the part about the facial expressions/eyes! I also think that the sort of motherly, gentle aspect of that design juxtaposed the bounty hunting part of Maeve pretty well.

The new Maeve is looking good. However, I was a fan of the previous Maeve. I felt she fit well as the headmistress. She carried this motherly feeling over the academy. One thing specifically I was a fan of was her facial expressions, her eyes specifically, had this soft and I guess genuine feel to it. Maybe doe-eyed is the best way to describe it. I hope her new design doesn't fall too far from that.

The redesign looks great, and I like the ideas you're coming up with! My only worry is that I hope you don't focus too much of your energy on redesigning and reworking. I think the changes made so far have been great, and some changes are always needed early in game development, but I also want the game finished eventually, of course, lol. As the saying goes—"don't let perfect be the enemy of good"!
