Conduit -- Apex Legends (Exclusive 2 of 4 - 11/23)
🕑 Added 2023-11-17 20:44:14 +0000 UTCThat's another Apex girl down! This character feels broken sometimes -- going up against her and a Lifeline can feel like a nightmare.
Major props to the cosplay guides on EA's site for the Apex characters, which came in clutch for getting crisp, clear, straightforward views on Conduit's appearance. Going off of screenshots can be really difficult, because I'll have to just bullshit some of the details, or otherwise make up what I think a certain costume element might look like from this new angle. For this piece, while you can't see all of it, Conduit's back rig was accurately drawn in its entirety, and then just moved into place behind her figure. While there's some time spent on that piece that's simply not visible from here, it does take some of the stress off when you know you can just move the item around in case it was placed off-center, or otherwise needs to be adjusted, without then exposing an un-rendered or undrawn portion of the item.
The room is just a loose interpretation of Wattson's room in the Pylon POI on the Stormpoint Map -- once again, thanks to the artists on Artstation who post their concept work for EA, which I was able to reference heavily for this.
