Kat's Feet Photoshoot - Exclusive 2/24
🕑 Added 2024-02-15 00:37:32 +0000 UTCYou don't know her too well, but Kat agrees to do a casual photoshoot with you. She is a little confused at first, but is more than willing to show off her socks and feet for the camera. c:
----------------------------------------
Out of my OCs, Kat here is the only one without any character design sheet -- Erin has a completed sheet, while Reisha and some others have some WIPs. Most of my characters have more outlandish, futuristic-tech outfits than seen here, but this seems like a good "casual" outfit for Kat, that I will use to inform her "hero" outfit (for lack of a better term) down the road.
All these characters do have backstories of varying depth, so I try to stay somewhat true to them even when I'm drawing these fun feet images -- that includes considering what they may or may not say, what costume elements suit them, etc. Kat here is much more bubbly than Erin, with an eager adventurous edge. She's a bit younger as well (mid 20s), so I wanted to capture that rebelliousness in her in appearance. She pulls some inspiration from the emo subculture, hence the crescent moon crop top, the stud leather cuff, and the chunky platform sandals, but she doesn't carry the typical emo "angst", and isn't afraid to get fun with things -- hence the vibrant pink hair, the oversized glasses, and the silly faux pas of wearing socks with her sandals. She's the kind of person who isn't afraid to try new things.
This one took me a while -- I just kept adding on ideas for variants/follow-up scenes. Trust me, there could have been more, but I had to move on before I lost my mind. If I could pick a single piece each month and do many variants for it like this, I wouldn't complain -- I just have to make sure I keep the time under control so I don't fall behind. XD

I am currently taking commissions for late March -- hit me up if you want one of your own!

You and some others have both expressed your likes when it comes to muddy variants, so I wanted to try and get that in there. :D

Kat's energy expressions and punk looking aesthetic come off very well in this set! Not to mention her willingness to take a variety of shots akin to some classic foot fetish photography do play off her curious and yet weary thought process. By the time you get to he dirty and muddy shots, I'm pretty much drooling. We really need more muddy shots of your girls, even if it's the ham up the whole photo shoot experience. :D

Aww thanks! I spend a lot of time on the faces, almost as much as I spend on the feet. XD
