Are you playing on your phone? You could encounter some bugs with cookies.
If you have black squares, images don't load or it shows the older version number, consider playing in a private tab, in different a browser app or simply wait couple of days (cookies will reset) or pressing CTRL+R.

So the DLC early access is the latest version + DLC enabled. I will usually post the latest version that way first, so I could fix any bugs (at least the big ones) making the standard Early Version (without DLC) more stable

That's fair, but also it's not posted in early access, it's posted in the dlc early access. Was that accidental?
The 1.3 is already in early access btw, will post soon the web + offline version
I was making small updates every Saturday, but decided to switch to a big update once a month
