I wanted to let all of my $5+ Patrons know that I am slightly altering the $5 monthly Patron reward.
The livestream has not been working out as well as I'd hoped. Attendance varies greatly due to time differences and work schedules, and I've also run into a number of problems with Twitch itself. I streamed for about an hour yesterday, and afterwards when I went to upload the archived stream to YouTube, Twitch informed me that they "lost" that video file. I've submitted a ticket, but who knows what can be done.
So for this month, I'm simply going to record locally on my PC. I'll then edit and upload the file to YouTube for my $5+ Patrons. I think this way I can guarantee that everyone who pledged gets to watch the behind-the-scenes art, etc.
I'm also going to try and investigate Google Hangouts this month. I think I'd have to invite everyone individually, which may be a pain. But from what I hear, it would be a good platform for a monthly chat/Q&A.
