Why would they be guarded? XD It's not a military complex, it's an old ore drilling station being used as a seedy pitstop.

All I'm gonna say to that is, power and gas lines. Out in the open in plain sight everywhere with zero guards or protection, blowing a couple of the big ones could wipe power to half a city easy
