200-Patron Celebration & Raffle
🕑 Added 2023-06-21 19:59:57 +0000 UTCIt's been just over two years since I launched this Patreon—and since the first public re-release of Curse of Strahd: Reloaded three weeks ago, we've passed a monumental 200 patrons!
First—I want to thank all of you for your feedback and support, both financial and otherwise. It's thanks to your help that I've been able to dedicate this much time to my work on D&D projects and design.
Second—I also want to thank everyone who's made this community such an incredible place to be in, especially among the Patreon Discord server. When I first started the Patreon two years ago, I didn't expect how important that community would become for me. It's become a place for sharing ideas, for seeking advice, and for frequent collaboration—not because of me, but because of you.
Third—in celebration of this milestone and in lieu of a Discord workshop this month, I'll be releasing four new resources for the DM's Toolkit: an exposition reference sheet, a gameplay challenge reference sheet, a dynamic monster creation guide, and a reworked NPC creation guide. I'd love to hear your feedback on these and other resources, plus any requests or suggestions you have for future tools, templates, or workshops that I can add in the future.
Fourth—I'm hosting a Storytelling Raffle to give three members of the Patreon access to the higher-tier perks for a month. Here's how it'll work:
- Members of the Patreon Discord server can contribute short stories about their campaigns in the new #storytelling-raffle channel. These stories can be in either narrative or summary form.
- Every member who submits a story will have their name automatically entered into a raffle, with a random drawing on Friday, June 30th at noon Eastern time.
- The first winner of the raffle will win a one-month free subscription to the benefits of the Patreon Diamond tier, which includes weekly one-hour session-prep meetings.
- The second and third winners of the raffle will each win a free one-month subscription to the benefits of the Patreon Platinum tier, which includes a one-hour mentoring or session-prep meeting.
Additionally, until 11:59 PM Eastern time on Friday, July 7, any upgrades to the Platinum or Diamond tiers will get a free additional month of mentoring or session-prep meetings.
