I need your input to build better D&D modules
🕑 Added 2025-03-16 14:05:34 +0000 UTCI've previously mentioned that, when Curse of Strahd: Reloaded is complete, I'm launching a new adventure publishing company to produce more fun, satisfying, low-prep campaigns for DMs to use—starting with a Lost Mine of Phandelver: Reloaded Kickstarter this summer, and continuing into both Reloaded and homebrew campaigns beyond that. Our goal is to keep making great free adventures available to the D&D community, and I'm really excited to share more news as this venture progresses.
Before we can do that, however, we want to know what you want to see in future campaign modules, both Reloaded and otherwise. That's why our team has put together a pair of short (5-10 minute) surveys to learn what you and your players care about, and what you're looking for in an adventure.
You can find our DM survey here, and our player survey here. If you could fill out the DM survey, as well as share both surveys around to any of your friends and players, we would sincerely appreciate it.
At the end of the day, I want to keep producing free, accessible, high-quality content that best suits the community's needs. With your help, we can figure out what that content should look like and how to approach it.

Where can I purchase your great works 《Curse of Strahd： Reloaded》 ?

As a primarily virtual GM, my solution has been to wholesale import Re-Reloaded into Alchemy RPG, the VTT I use, and then hyperlink all the location references to the original source material, which I've also wholesale imported from D&D Beyond. Definitely a good amount of legwork there but you can carve out individual story arcs and chip away at it over time as the campaign progresses rather than all at once, so it doesn't feel too bad.

I just started a Curse of Strahd: Reloaded campaign with my group, and I have been using OneNote to compile the notes along with the references in the sourcebook to try to solve this problem. It is labor-intensive, however. Is there maybe a way to download the source code of the markup and replace the page references with text as we see fit?

Thank you! And unfortunately, yeah, it's copyright - I can't legally copy and paste official WotC material. This is definitely one of the most frequent complaints I've received, though, so it's definitely at the top of my list to see if there's some way we can address it!

I'll for sure be filling out the form, but meamwhile : I'm unsure why you reference material from other sourcebook instead of just copy-pasting it. If I have to juggle between 2-3 source books, including the Obsidian file, while I dm, it won't be really smooth. What I usually do is go find the referenced material and copy it myself in my Obsidian. Any particular reason for said structure? Is it copyright issue? Thanks for the input!
