I can't remember if I've already mentioned this, but there's a trick in ballet to keep your ribbons secure for a while: Hair spray... Do all the normal knots then coat it is hairspray, it makes it a little stiff, but basically acts as flexable-light-glue and keeps all the knots etc in place and it should just break up when you want to take them off. However, it would be worth just checking how it looks when you spray the ribbons before-hand it can darken them in patches if you are not spraying evenly. If it means the ribbons stay in place rather than cutting of blood supply to your fingies!

I believe they make two-way mirror "film" where you can get a piece of normal glass, put the film on it, and then have a two-way mirror. Perhaps something like that would work for filming?

Ok that was awesome and worth all the work you put in. Honestly some of the rebel legion people don't look like the characters very much even with their makeup application and wigs. So I am sure you will be approved for the quality of the outfit as well as the incredible doppelgänger makeup!
