Noclip Stunt Game Playtest (Friday) - GET YOUR ALHPA KEY NOW
🕑 Added 2022-07-22 14:42:10 +0000 UTC
Hello Production Team Patrons (and up),
We are just about ready to give you access to an early build of our Game Project. The idea of these playtests is to give us some initial feedback on the game and to try and get some ideas brewing around game modes, map styles and probably the title of the game too.
Alex has spent a few months working on it and this playtest is gonna give us some initial ideas of what we do next. The idea is to use this game as a platform to make different types of videos and ultimately try and sell a certain amount of copies to cover the production of the series (and hell, maybe more).
---------------------------------------------
How to get your key:
DM me (Noclip) on Patreon and I will respond as quick as I can with your Steam key of the alpha version. One key per patron. Expect delays after Friday as I'm moving house right now (and flying to Ireland next week lol). I'll try get them to you asap but to secure one try to ask in the next 12 hours.
Once you have the game you can drive around on our first track and also make your own in the editor. If you want to play online then read on...
When is the first playtest?
We're doing it tomorrow (Friday 22nd) at 3PM Pacific. To enter it just hit the "Join Game" button on the main menu. We'll be using a voice chat channel on the discord to keep in touch with everyone as we play. It's not required but you may want to jump in to ask questions etc. We will be doing them (likely weekly) from now on and expanding the playtest group as we do.
You can also play local games by clicking "Start Game" or mess around with the track editor.
Controls:
The game requires a gamepad. Most (all?) Xbox and PlayStation pads are supported. Here are a few more controls to be aware of in the game.
Triggers - Accelerate / Brake
Left Analog Stick - Steer
B / Circle - Shift Up
X / Square - Shift Down
Y / Triangle - Flip Car over
Keyboard Hotkeys:
1- Free Camera
2- In-car camera
3- 3rd-Person Camera
Track Editor Stuff
Delete Pieces / Lower Height with Right Click
Rotate pieces with Shift & Left Click
How to give feedback / help
Right after the playtest (or whenever you want doing forward) if you could jump into the "dev-team" discord channel and give some feedback on what your initials thoughts, desires, impressions, criticisms are that would be rad. You can also use the comments section of this post if you'd like.
--------------------------------------------------------
That's all for now, if you have any questions stick them in the comments. Thanks so much for your help, we hope you enjoy the alpha!
Danny
