Noclip's First Ever AUDIENCE SURVEY!
🕑 Added 2023-08-01 14:00:13 +0000 UTCHey Patrons and Noclip viewers!
As you know we're approaching our 7th birthday and myself and the team are taking that transition into Year 8 very seriously. Noclip has survived and thrived for longer than many though we might. We got through covid and learned a lot by working more outside of our comfort zone. So as we enter the final phase of our first decade we want to make sure we're doing everything right and continuously evolving our work.
A big part of that is getting an understanding of what our Patreon members, YouTube viewers and wider fanbase thinks of our output. What they want to see more of, how they think they can support us, and what other opportunities for creativity we might pursue in the future. Be that under the Noclip banner, or something totally new.
So if you have 5 minutes to complete the above survey (it's only around a dozen questions) we'd really appreciate it. Patreon helped set it up for us and their creator success team will be going through the data once we've gotten enough feedback.
The more data the better so if you have the time please fill in the attached form to help us get as much useful information about our audience as possible.

Thanks so much for your time, and incredible support. We really value and appreciate it.
Here's to the future!

Ok for anyone reading this later - at the end of the survey you get asked if you currently support the pateron. Still wish it was clearer earlier one.

Yea it absolutely is, as long as you answer the answers accurately (regardless of the context of your current situation) we'll be good. Thanks for making the time to fill it in!

And since βotherβ field was hard to type in, one item I wanted to emphasize - Iβm personally here since Day 1, because NoClip to me represents a type of content that will inspire the next generation of creators. These documentaries will inspire them to follow the steps of the greatest out there. And now that weβre covering extended topics, and we have an archive - all of this just supports my thesis that NoClip will be a culture influencer for years to come.

Alxa brought a great point. I answered all the questions as an active Patreon member. Their CS team should cohort the data based on that (among other things).

Looking at the survey, it seems it's for more for non paterons and doesn't have optional responses that would be ideal for long time patreons. Like this one: How important is it for you to receive something in return for financially supporting Noclip? Getting videos made is something, but it's public so we don't have to support - so I don't want to answer this question the wrong way. And * 7. How much would you consider spending on Noclip in the future? Well I already give you money - so is this how much more? * 5. Out of the options you chose, please select the ones you would consider paying for, if any. I put I'd pay no more because I already pay you :) But that may skew the results?
