DEAR DWYERY (Documentary Podcast) has Launched - SUBSCRIBE!
🕑 Added 2024-05-01 16:25:52 +0000 UTCHey folks,
You've been asking us to make a developer-focused podcast like the OG Noclip documentary for a few years now. It was always something a bit outside of our reach given all the other work we do, but last year myself and Jesse made it a priority to figure out a way of pulling it off.
That show is now here and it's called DEAR DWYERY because of course it is, what a stupid now - how could we not? Every TWO WEEKS we'll have a new episode focusing on a new area of games. It could be a video game, a publisher, a streamer, a journalist. We're going to figure it out together and go where the interesting stories are.
The basic idea is to be able to cover more video game stories than we possible can with just the documentaries.

In the coming weeks we have episodes with Dave Oshry from New Blood, the developer of Pacific Drive, Rebb Ford from Warframe and more. So if you have any suggestsions for guests please let us know.
Massive thanks to Jesse Guarascia pulling this together, I think this is gonna be a great new addition to our output and a place where we tell some really interesting stories.
Let us know what you think!

Give PodcastAddict a shot. I went with that on my Pixel phone after Stitcher was shutdown.

So I usually listen to my podcasts through google podcasts which is being shut down and transferred to YouTube podcasts. When I listen to this podcast it only plays while my phone is open- as soon as I lock it closes. This doesn't seem to happen for me with other podcasts on this app. Not sure if it's because you had video captured on YouTube and it's being treated like a video but if you can address this that would be great. Podcast was a fab listen, thank you

Love this format!

This was pretty awesome, localthunk sounds like a chill and subtly fascinating person. Love how random his resume is, has Zamboni driver and mega-hit indie developer on the same sheet

So pumped for this. I loved the original podcast (donβt worry I still like the new one and all previous iterations) and Iβm excited to have these to listen to. My 3rd daughter was born last week and I need an engaging podcast to keep me up in the evenings :)
