Noclip's First Ever physical release, the blu-ray of Hades: Developing Hell, is now available on Fangamer. I'm keeping this brief to let you all know as quickly as possible as they are in limited supply and we think (hope?) they sell out at some stage. That said Supergiant will be printing more if they do sell out so it should be available at some stage again.
Here's the blurb from the product page
How did the mega-hit dungeon crawler Hades come to be?
This one-of-a-kind video documentary takes you inside developer Supergiant Games for every step of the game’s journey: from before its surprise announcement in 2018, to its full launch almost two years later, and beyond as the game grew into a worldwide phenomenon. The result is a unique chronicle of one of the most celebrated games of 2020, and an insightful look at how a small team can bring a game to life.
Presented in a new director’s cut of the original six-part video documentary series from Noclip’s YouTube channel, this special region-free Blu-ray release includes a booklet about the project, as well as a reversible front jacket designed by Josh Barnett and a bonus sticker illustrated by Nina Matsumoto.
Noclip is a small team making crowdfunded video game documentaries for everyone to enjoy, and whose mission is to tell authentic stories about video games, the people who make them, and those who play them. Their work is funded by a community of Patrons and free of sponsored content.
As crowdfunding is what made Developing Hell possible to begin with, proceeds from this new Blu-ray release go to Noclip so that they can keep shining a light on how games are made.
And a Quick Word on people ordering from Europe. The official word down from Fangamer/Supergiant is that they plan to be sold on the Fangamer EU store too eventually, but the launch window is gonna be on the Fangamer US store only.

Same here. Please keep us updated about the EU launch Danny.
Noclip
We're 75% through the current batch so I think anyone who desperately wanted one already had it ordered. Thanks for asking!
Tony M
Jumped on this yesterday before I went to bed - I'm hyped! :D
Jacob Godserv
Is it rude to order multiple for friends? Should I wait and see if stock holds first?
Noclip
Thanks so much!
Noclip
No we ran into space issues to get it on a single disk to keep the costs down. So there are no bonus scenes or anything.
Noclip
It's just the blu-ray, and it has some structural changes and edits to music / graphics in parts. It's no an entirely new re-edit, most of it is the same as YouTube.
Brandon K Gann
Order placed. Thanks for the heads-up Danny!

Also on to this question: I remember a long time ago there being mentioned at another episode about Hades being a physical exclusive. I assume that didn't happen then? Fine if not, but just curious!

"Their work is funded by a community of Patrons" Hey! That's us!
Cormac White
I'll hold off til the EU release then. Thanks for the update!

Finally!

Awesome. Is this directors cut going to be available anywhere else or is it exclusive to the Blu-ray?
Noclip
Region free and they order internationally. We are waiting to see if it's going up on Fangamer's EU site, but I've no answer right now. I'll update this comment when I do. UPDATE: Okay official word down is that they plan to be on the EU store eventually, but the launch window is gonna be their US store only.
James Hilton
I managed to order mine to the UK so it can at least go there too.
Vivvian
I just bought mine! Congrats on the launch!

Says region-free right in the blurb up there. I'm guessing international is OK just more expensive. It told me shipping after I put in my address.
Cormac White
Is this US only or will it ship internationally? Also is the Blu-ray region locked?
