Today I sent the last of the new pages to the colorist. There will be an update soon, it will have four pages. At this point, the scene of the conversation between Maxim and Alex at the university will end. Next we will go to a cafe, where Maxim will talk with Lisa (we haven’t seen her for a long time!), I think this will surprise you a little =)
But before that, I would like to return to the redrawing of the first chapter. I already have some pages that I didn't show you because I love finished scenes. =) So I need to draw about 3 more pages and the scene will be ready.
I am often asked: why do I waste time redrawing?)) There are two reasons for this:
1. I see a big difference in the narrative between the first chapter and the last. I want to make history unified. So that the viewer does not feel that the same character from the first chapter and from the last are different people) 2. The second reason: I want to release a printed version of Valentine. My plan is to finish editing the first chapter and send it to several publishers. If they refuse me, I will print the Valentine myself. For printing, I also have to make edits. So I better start doing it now))
I promise not to get carried away and regularly release updates of the current moment in story.
And one more moment. I created a new tier for $10. I have to admit, I'm not a fan of big donations, but my money situation is not the best. My income has dropped a lot in the last six months. The reason for this, of course, is my non-regular updates. Unfortunately, while I can not do anything about it and somehow fix it. What worries me most is that if the trend continues, I will have to give up the services of a colorist. And then the speed of work will be halved. That's why I created this tier. If you have the opportunity to donate more - I will be very grateful.

Сегодня я отправила последнюю из новых страниц колористу. В скором времени грядёт обновление, в нём будет четыре страницы. На этом моменте закончится сцена разговора Максима и Лёши в университете. Следом мы отправимся в кафе, где состоится разговор Максима с Лизой (давно мы её не видели!), думаю он вас немного удивит =)
Но перед этим я бы хотела вернуться к перерисовке первой главы. У меня уже есть несколько страниц, которые я вам не показывала, потому что люблю законченные сцены. =) Так вот мне нужно нарисовать ещё около 3 страниц и сцена будет готова.
Меня часто спрашивают: зачем я трачу время на перерисовку?)) На это есть две причины:
1. Я вижу большую разницу в повествовании между первой главой и последней. Мне хочется сделать историю единой. Чтобы зрителю не казалось, что один и тот же персонаж из первой главы и из последней - разные люди) 2. Вторая причина: я хочу выпустить печатную версию Валентинки. Мой план такой: закончить редактирование первой главы и выслать её в несколько издательств. Если мне откажут, я буду печатать Валентинку самостоятельно. Для печати мне так же придётся вносить правки. Поэтому лучше я начну делать это сейчас))
Обещаю не увлекаться и регулярно выпускать обновления актуального момента истории.
И ещё один момент. Я создала новый тир на $10. Должна признаться, я не сторонница больших донатов, но ситуация с деньгами у меня не лучшая. Мой доход сильно упал за последние полгода. Виной тому, конечно, мои не регулярные обновления. К сожалению, пока я ничего не могу с этим поделать и как-то исправить. Больше всего меня беспокоит, что если тенденция продолжиться, мне придётся отказаться от услуг колориста. И тогда скорость работы уменьшится вдвое. Поэтому я создала этот тир. Если у вас есть возможность задонатить больше - я буду очень признательна.

I love your work and I definitely want to see you continue this wonderful story! So, while I can't go all the way up to $10, I did up my tier to the second highest. I do hope this helps you, even if it is not too much on its own..
