🕑 Added 2022-08-24 16:02:00 +0000 UTCSet thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings," The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power takes viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin and the unlikely heroes of the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth were tested. We're here to dive into the libraries of Numenor to break it down for all of you.

It's a good one. DOUBLE BEAN!
This might be my favorite stick around of all time. π€£
I just wanted to comment I loved this episode as someone who has read the hobbit, lord of the rings and silmarillion, but nothing in the silmarillion stuck with me. This was a great way to wrap my head around everything. It was especially helpful with a map so I can pause and finally understand where all these places are. Also I would love an episode about the first age after hearing this one, even though lots was covered in the Gandalf episode if memory serves me I feel there are enough to merit its own episode.
