I'm not saying it's really serious, just saying it's baffling and cringe af that anyone could possibly think that name is pronounced that way, and still pronounce it wrong even after knowing the correct way.

Calling CC "see see" makes sense. It's literally the two letters. Calling Kallen "kaylen" actually doesn't make any sense. It's got two L's after the 'a' in there. When someone says, "Call me," they don't say "Cayl me." Common sense. Also, that's how they pronounce it in the anime. Imo it's disrespectful to the character and to the mangaka.
