Now I am getting impression that this annoying 'sweatheart' part of the game is intended to sabotage a thoughtful player's attempt to know what is going on. It is intentionally exhaustive, makes it very difficult to focus on important detail... which is exactly what narcissists often will do to abuse its victims.
