2024 Tight End Prospect Tier Rankings
🕑 Added 2024-04-22 03:18:41 +0000 UTCSmall disclaimer, first and foremost...I think I'm the one draft analyst out there who hasn't watched Tanner McLachlan yet. I know a lot of other folks like him a lot, I just haven't gotten to him yet.
I still wanted to put these rankings out tonight anyway, however, just so you can see where I'm at with the rest of this class. I'll make sure to watch McLachlan before day two of the draft just to make sure I'm ready to break him down by the time he actually gets drafted.
Other than him though, these are all of my tight end tiers for this class. Full write ups of the top few tiers - as usual - are in the PDF version of these rankings attached in this post. Hit me with any questions you've got in the comments below!

My rookie draft for dynasty is Tuesday. My question is: how much do your predraft rankings change after the draft for dynasty rookie drafts?
Sheldon Wong
did you watch mclachlan
Travis Wagner
I know you've talked about Brock Bowers not being a true out and out tight end in the conventional sense (more of a "gadget"-y type player), is Ben Sinnott therefor TE1 if a team needs a true all-around tight end? Second, if a team needs a true blocking tight end (like how the Steelers used Darnell Washington last year) who do you think that is in this class?
Kevin
This is great! Any idea on if your RB rankings will come out pre-draft?
Jack
Very cool! We will be expecting videos - or else u didn't *actually* attend π
Brett Kollmann
I do think TEU has made a huge impact, especially on younger tight ends that go to the event. I may or may not be going to it myself this year to check it out :)
Brett Kollmann
I see Culp as just straight up a big slot type player, not necessarily a tight end. He would be like a Tanner Conner type of player to me, who is TE in name only.
Jack
Given the rookie performance last season out of La Porta .. perhaps even throw Kincaid into that mix - Do u think it's a trend (at least 1 breakout rookie TE per year) we could start to see more of? If so - any guess what has started this trend? Like could the efforts of Kittle with TEU (tight end uni) take some of the credit?
Marcus Goble
Do you have any strong feelings about the UW tight ends (Westover and Culp)?
Brett Kollmann
I could see late round 2 on Sinnott, just because he's so versatile and also has special teams utility. But that's a maybe, more so than it is a lock.
Hunter Reynolds
I concur
Brett Kollmann
I kinda feel like Jaheim Bell would be really good for them to be honest.
Bryant Williams
Beyond Brock, we might see the next TE go in round 3? maybe 4?
Jake Beck
Outside of Bowers which prospect would fit best with Indyβs system?
